Doobedoo. I moved into my new room in the dorm (a nice suite), but because the local cable franchise is a bunch of insert-highly-derrogatory-insult-here, and think that I owe them 300+ for services over the summer despite the fact that I returned the modem to them soon after I moved out, I've had LOTS of freetime to putz around with stuff like this. If you like the design of the character, don't worry, I'll have the regular version on my site as soon as I'm able.

The model mythical family. The most fun part about this was definitely the expressions. Some will notice that they do not have tiger stripes in this image, while they do in Hunted; I chose to scan this in before I completed it because it was my opinion that the stripes clashed with the nature of tannebristic comic inking. ... And stuff.

I think the thing I realized the most in my absence about fandom is the fact that it's so damn inbred. People readily settle for formulas that turn into fads that turn into tired old cliches. Long before I was even aware of fandom, I had a fox and red panda character. It's equally a blessing to find kindred spirits, I guess, and frustrating to realize that your ideas aren't quite so original. Nevertheless, I'm not starting a revolution. That's been tried and has failed many times over.
