- A race? Umm... I'd have to get a horse, first... can I get back to you in a few, Blackfrost? <:)
- Lovable long-eared Belinda Bunny requested me to draw her not too long ago! Here she is... doing a 'rabbit thing'... hopping exuberantly! She is © her player, natch!
- Goodbye, 'Bones'...
- aaaahh... such treatment. Such wonderful treatment, I could stay incapacitated *forever* to get such treatment. :) Or *would have*... if i hadn't blown my cover. <:) (This happened just before the Cat Patrol arrived!!!)
- Mr. de Wylfin and I have not made acquaintance yet? Hopefully this will serve as an introduction. :) But I can assure him, I do *not* assimilate anyone. Not only does it make you the target of some nasty phaser fire from a whole slew of Starfleet types... when and if *that* doesn't work, they send odd-looking, irritating androids to talk you to death. No, that assimilation jazz is OUT. Richard de Wylfin © himself.
- Hmm... Mr. Furness did a 'bovination' of me today. Well, that's very cute... and I appreciate it. But, umm... I think I should point out that it isn't quite what Gene would look like in that fashion. This is. :) Oh, and Howie is most assuredly © Jason "Ole...smoke!" Furness
- Thanks so much for the caber, Fhaolan! I'm just hoping this doesn't mean that I'm entered in a Caber Toss... 159 lb. wiry anthro alley cats can NOT do the Caber Toss. :) Hmm.. that does raise a question, though: do any of the furry mucks have their own Highland Games? Fhaolan © Allan Kemp
- Charles du Roi has gotten the wrong impression of me. I have *no* desire to take over the SCFA! And I hope he's not one of the swordsfurs du Roi that I think he is... because they are known for their pronounced distaste of dictators and overlords and such. And yes, they are VERY skilled with the sword. Monsieur du Roi is © Eugene Arenhaus
- Yes, it's time for my ConFurence 9 report! Not as big this year, 'cause I could only stay two days. But, as you can see, the AAWD was in full effect once again! More when I get it drawn... :)
- The Buena Park was booked solid a long time ago, so I didn't stay there. But I did register Thursday night, and Gabriel was there. More to come...
- More of my escapades at CF9, since G. Raymond Eddy did such an elegant picture requesting same. :) I met (among other wonderful furs) a most unique artist for the first time...
- ...so, anyway, after Sully's blazing 15-minute guitar solo in "Furry Up (and Get Down)", the crowd was already hyped.. and when Amara tore into the vocals of the song again, they.. oh, wait. WAIT. This didn't actually happen at CF9! Where did I get this idea?? Oh, yeah.. G. Raymond Eddy did that with Roland and Trixi and me in costumes from "Grease"... :)
- One of the things I learned as I was improving my art, Chibi, is that the two things that people look at first in an animated character are the hands and the eyes. That's why I try to make mine as expressive as possible. Which is why I guess it looked like I had 'hula hands'. :) (Houlihans? Hooligans?? Whatvever...!) Chibi Gwendel is © Wendy Rice
- On-model, yes indeed! The charming Chilly Mouse did indeed send me that little pic. This was the one I sent her for the first little comic, in which the return of the marshmallow ladies is revealed! So nice to see Chilly's art again. :)
- Chris is another one of those great artists that have drawn me a bunch of times (including a COOL birthday comic-thanks much!!) but I haven't done even *one* rendition of him. Must fix that. I had several ideas about how I might draw Mr. La Follette's character, but this image jumped in front of all the others and wouldn't budge. :)
- Ciseal Catiss was so gracious and so nice in her E-mail to me, I was more than happy to do a picture of her! Hope you like it, Cisie! :) The charming Ciseal is © the vivacious Vickster, natch!
- o/~ Hmmm Hmmm... working in my secret lab... Hmm? Who? Hey, what the... CatMega! What are you... No! STOP! Don't do that!! YIPES!!! CatMega © Brian McGroarty
- Here's my rendition of the creator of the FurRing (FurRingLeader? :) ) the cool canine Canuss! A smooth and capable artistic style he has, too. (glad to see you drawing more!)
- Candy L. and Ryan D. have come up with such an interesting character in Crystal Timedancer that I couldn't resist trying my hand at drawing her. I hope they like it. I hope also that those who have been sending me worried e-mails about why I haven't uploaded anything since CF9 will relax now. :)
- The delightful DoodLes asked so nicely for other Yerf artists to try drawing one of her characters, that I went ahead and finished up this pencil test of Dooky Iguana. I think it turned out well. Can't remember ever trying to draw an iguana before! :) This one (Dooky) is © Meike "DoodLeS" Thomas
- To be honest, I thought I had already uploaded this one. A couple of furs have recently asked me how I draw my character, and I was all ready to refer them to this diagram... only to discover that it wasn't in my directory. Shame on me. Hope this answers some of their questions. :)
- So... Drip has plans to replace me with a homemade clone, does he? Thanks for the warning, Dave, but in case he hasn't figured it out himself by now *heh* just tell him, as Bootsy Collins put it, "I'm like a Hiplock Storage Bag... you can shake me, but you can't break me!" :) And if he still wants trouble, I'll swipe all his NIN cd's and replace 'em with Bobby McFerrin. So he better be cool. >:)
- It's funny that Hysteria would mention M.C. Escher. I've been fascinated by his unique and intricate drawings for a long time. One of my favorites of his are the staircases he draws... staircases that couldn't possibly be walked on in RL the way the people in the drawing do.. and yet it gives the illusion of reality. Hysteria © Julie Miyamoto
- *I* started it, Fhaolan? I was only trying to keep it going... and to keep it positive! These types of artist/character crossover things have happened before... I just hope that this one stays friendly! Thanks for your contribution! :) Fhaolan (C) Allan Kemp
- The amazingly amazing Go Ryusuke sent me a very nice e-mail, simply to make acquaintance. He is an excellent artist whose work is influenced by anime. We've told each other it's okay to draw our respective characters. Unfortunately, I being a candidate for one of those Old Coot Furs, when you say 'anime' to me this is what springs to mind. *sigh* :) The demon on wheels is © W. Ruzicka.
- Actually, Illys, I'm just the one who's trying to keep this going, and keep it fun! :) I don't think my art is so special that all these already good artists *need* me to draw them. It's just a fun thing to be involved in! Illys Dalle © Jeanette Merrell
- Thank you, Inhandra, for the beautiful picture! I like it very much indeed! Here's one of the reference pictures I do to build my own art skills... it's one of you! Sorry it isn't quite as good as my normal work (I have to work on the eyes a little more...) but it's the only drawing I've done of you, so I hope you like it. :) I hope neither you nor anyone else feel obligated to draw me. But I am always honored when someone does! :) Inhandra Riff © Kelly Dunlap
- Another character I should be thwacked on my drawing hand for not having drawn before now. Isis holds a strange glowing sphere before you... what is it? Will it reveal to you the eternal secrets of the universe itself? Or is it a curse that will merrily (and painfully) shred your soul into paper dolls for the eons you are now doomed to spend with it? Dunno... But Isis is © Chandra Odom, that I *do* know.
- Jamaru wants to know where I get my nice shirts? That's an easy one. :) Jamaru & Kompy © the truly talented Nicole Trujillo! Thank you for the delightful picture of me, Nicole!
- Somewhere in my future... :)
