- That righteous rodent Squee Rat had me meet Kobe not too long ago. He wasn't too impressed with me, but at least there wasn't too much hostility. I think. I hope. The truly delightful Squee Rat and the truly deadly Kobe are both © Charla Trotman!
- Another Yerf artist that honored me with a neato rendering of Gene was Emilie Bosworth-Clemens, whose frontier fox Tex is shown here riding shotgun for the Deadwood overland stage. No holdups or robberies on *that* trip, I can tell you. :)
- I wanted to upload these last Saturday for the Tetster's birthday, but I had a seminar I had to attend. Bleah. :P Anyway, what I have here are the finished renditions of some sketches I was able to make of the Guardians from the designs Trixi was gracious enough to let me view at the last HaleyCon. This one is of the charming honeybear Ursynda. :)
- The second of my renditions of the Guardians. The painterly procyon Vinci. It was great to see all the cool pics that so many artists did for Tet on his birthday. Sorry mine were late... <:)
- This was a quick drawing I did at work a little while ago as a request from one you-know-who to another you-know-who. :) And all done on my Kalidor pen computer. (I still kinda prefer paper, though.)
- I got my real Christmas present on the 26th. Got to be online with CatsWhisker a good long time! Just like in the old days... :)
- A few months ago while half-watching a program at a friend's house on one of those literate, erudite cable channels about American musical theatre, I did a quick doodle of CW and myself in a scene from some imaginary stage production. But! Just this last weekend, as the Trixilop has noted, there was a great get-together where I got to meet both the kinetic KarenKat and the awesome Ashryn, both of whose talents I am in awe of. Ashryn was generous enough to ink my sketch in her own distinctive style. Unbelievably beautiful. :)
- Thank you for the nice pic Chilly! T'would seem the marshmallow ladies are indeed on the move. :) (BTW the image that Chilly drew preceding this is at http://www.side7.com/art/erikrose/ladytie.jpg and the one I did is at http://www.side7.com/art/albetemp/Gcw_bow.gif)
- My lady cat knows the story behind this pic. ;)
- A wonderful holiday season to all of you :)
- The first im my series of pictures describing what is without question the *best* furry convention I have attended in years. And for someone who's been to just about every ConFurence that's ever been held, that's something. Albany AnthroCon was indescribably great! Nevertheless, I will be trying to describe as much of it as I can... :) The AAWD is © it's members
- The tenth, surprisingly enough, in my AAC series! I had planned to wrap this up with the last one, but Fenn was nice enough to send a scan of my entry in his sketchbook. As Sully has already divulged, the theme of it was, "If sketchbook is lost, please return to Fenn." Here I send the little lost sketchbook on its way home. :)
- Here's the picture I drew for Fuzzybear at AAC! (Yours Mewly making a completely unsuccessful attempt to stay off thr stage!) Thanks, Fuzzybear, for scanning it for me! :)
- The second in my AAC series. Before I actually arrived at the con, I had the opportunity to meet, during a change of flights at Washington Natl. Airport, Kendall, Timebase, and Kiken! We didn't get to talk long... but it was great fun to meet them, even for a brief while! And, oh, yes... Timebase *is* indeed holding up a copy of the picture he drew of himself and myself that he posted here on SCFA. That was how I identified them as I was exiting the plane! :) Kendall, Timebase and Kiken © their respective creators/players.
- The third in my AAC series. Finally arriving at the Omni Albany after a couple more flights (had to go to JFK in NY from DC, then down to Albany) I immediately meet my skunkomotive friend Telbert! Whoo-o Whooooo-ooo! :) This was just the beginning of the fun time I had! Telbert © his player
- AAC sketchbook time! This is one of Vicky Fox, Michael Russell's vivacious vixen creation. Looks like she's listening for something... :) Much thanks to Michael Russell (whom Vicky Fox is © and TM by) for scanning it and sending it to me!
- I got to meet the magnanimous Morton at AAC as well! He's already let you see the fun sketch he did in my book.... this is the one I did for him. I tried to resist the pun. I failed. Morton liked it, though, so I guess I'm forgiven. Much thanks for the scan to Po Shan Cheah, to whom Morton is ©.
- Rasvar is a character I wasn't too familiar with, so I had a lot of leeway with the sketch I did for him. Is he contemplating something tasty he's already had, or would like to have? Who knows? :) Rasvar is © his player, whom I also thank for scanning my little sketch!
- The fourth in my AAC series, and foxes are everywhere! I get to meet two truly righteous reynards, Fenn, who was prowling the Dealer's Room, and Loam, who was stationed at the Vision Comics table. I was able to score sketchbook entries from both these talented artists! True vulpines of valor! But the best was yet to come..! Fenn © G. M. & Loam © Tom Ziolkowski
- Continuing my fourth AAC entry, and since foxes were in full effect I should have been expecting it... at long last I got to meet iRL the vivacious vixen who inaugurated the concept of the AAWD, the wonderful Amara herself!! :) And now... half of the AAWD are at the con... Two more to go!! Amara is © the amazing Amy Pronovost!
- The fifth in my AAC series... I get to meet the personable procyon who was the motivation for my Raccoon Kids pictures, the righteous raccoon Royce! Pencilled by Yours Mewly, and inked at AAC by the stalwart Sully Fox! Royce is, naturally, © his player.
- Continuing my AAC series... later, after meeting Amara, I was told that MelSkunk had arrived at the convention! Needless to say, I immediately went looking for her... and in the Artist's gathering on the 16th floor, I found her! :) Everyone in the picture is © their creators/players!
- The sixth in my AAC series... and one of the most special things to happen to me at any con, anywhere. A hug I've been waiting forever to give to someone I've been waiting forever to meet! I didn't float away this time... Mel was hugging me too tight! :) One more reason why this was the best con I've ever attended! The magical MelSkunk is © Melissa Drake!
- The seventh in my AAC series... and now we are four!! Yes, with the dramatic appearance of the fantastic fun-filled fox Sully, the AAWD have finally convened iRL for the first time! Watch for the details of our first meeting in the next episode! :) All four of us are © ourselves, natch.
- The eighth in my AAC series. A few of the highlights of the first RL meeting of the AAWD! Of course, I may have overemphasized a bit here and there... but this is more or less the real deal. We have plans, my friends...! All of our characters © us. You know which goes with who. :)
- The ninth in my AAC series... another sketchbook entry of mine, this time in Jackrabbit's book! Much thanks to my lapine friend for scanning and sending it to me! I know I haven't been uploading much lately... sudden extra hours at work are taking up my time. Hopefully I'll be back to normal soon...!
- Tapestry (Kyono Malnassy) posted an excellent drawing of Gene (and it *was* excellent, Tapestry, not pathetic! I wish good artists would stop putting down their art!) and I decided to take some time with that lil' Adobe youknowwhat for this one of Aislynn! Hope you like it, Tapestry. :) (Hope also you draw Aislynn more...!)
- Aww! The beautiful BlueAngel did such a KY00TE pic of my lady cat and I! She's such a fun fur! :) (VERY skilled with the Squeeky Hammer too!) Thank you so much, BlueAngel! :) (Who is © the marvelous Marie Lu)
- Now that I know what Anise looks like, I couldn't help but draw her! Anise Seago is © herself, not surprisingly.
- I liked the picture that Jedd did of himself and Arved, too! But I wanted to ask: How did Arved and Jedd get the picture to display on the monitor... when the monitor's not plugged in?? :) Hmm.. actually that's not really what I wanted... I really wanted to draw Arved! After all those wonderful renditions he did of me, I wanted to return the favor! :) Jedd is © Mr. Jones, Arved is © Mr. Heidrich!
