- Wow... Kelly has visualized herself as a red panda! Now that's unique! :) Personal furries (or characters that you just *like* to draw) are good because one can easily make each drawing tell a little bit about the character. I hope you'll do lots of pictures like those, Kelly. :)
- And the talented Erin M. sent me an e-mail asking (and very nicely too) if I would consider drawing Kenai. Well, before I hit the sack I guess I could do that for her, what with all the neat art she's posted on Yerf! (Sheesh.. all these speedy young talents... they start making ya feel your age. :) ) Hope you like it, Erin! NOW maybe I'm tired enough to sleep... ZzZz
- I *really* should be sorry for not having done so ebullient a character as Kit long before this. Such potential. :) Here he is just as dapper as anything! He's © Erin the M. BTW, a BIG congrats to Dante on countdown to parenthood! As for a possible furry name for the baby, my pun-instincts keep urging me to suggest "Infant Dante=Infante! What else? :)" but I won't...
- Remember when I had time to turn out pics this good all the time? *sigh* Maybe my free time situation'll get better. Anyway, here's a little request pic from the friendly froggie Karma (© Katie P.) to cheer up her Max (© Maki T.) Kinda proud of this one. I played lots of Erich Korngold romantic movie themes (particularly "Escape Me Never") while drawing this one. :)
- I logged on to Yerf today and was instantly greeted with a beautiful pic by Kynliod! She does the most incredibly emotive and expressive artwork. And here I've gone all this time without drawing her with her nice new headfur style. Shame on me. Well, I will rectify this oversight right away. :) The delightful Ms. Dewphire is © the beautiful Ms. Bowler.
- The talented newcomer Kynliod Dewfire did a lovely drawing of her drawing me, and, well.. :) She says, "everyone's gotta draw that cat!" Well, Ms. Dewfire... um.. no, no one *has* to draw me at all. But it is a great honor when they do. Thank you! :) Kynliod Dewfire is © Josie Bowler
- Kelvin the Lion has created a world of charming creatures called Fluff Dragons. He also enjoys doing art exchanges with other artists. Here's the picture of Lilix that I drew for him!
- Here's the sketch that I did for the cleverly cool Lysozyme at AC2001! That was a *huge* con (the largest attendance of any furry con, I've heard) and it was great to meet Lyso and everyone else :)
- *chuckle* Never was in marching band, fellow furs.. but was in the high school orchestra. Piano (and keyboards in general) have been my favorite for years, and though I didn't get to play much in HS, (got roped into cello) my time in Jazz Band in Jr. College was *heaven*! Nowadays all I have time to do is tinker with funky old jazz riffs on my synthesizer. :) But I still have fun!
- Slowly but surely I'm working my way through all my comissions and requests. A nice canine gal name of Neon asked so nicely for me to draw her. I hope she likes it. :) Neon is © her player.
- PDA's *are* neat. I still have my original Palm Pilot, back when they still used the 'Pilot' name, made by USRobotics (before 3Com bought the company) and it's still perking away! :)
- I dunno if it qualifies as an addiction, but on my last job I *definitely* couldn't do without my Palm Pilot. :) There were little bits of pertinant info I constantly had to take down, and my PDA was so handy, I referred to it as "my brains" or "my mind". And when I misplaced it, I'd "lost my mind." <:)
- I recently received a wonderful e-mail from a very nice pteranodon actress, Pterry Don Baker. ( ©Lindsey Layne King) She looked kind of familiar to me, and it turned out she'd been in a late 80's sitcom, "Sweet 'n' Saur", which was about the goings-on at 'Dan & Dinah's Dino Diner'. :)
- Sorry it took so long, Puffy, but a slew of other things were ahead of your request. But I did get to yours. Hope you like it. :) Puffy © Heath Williamson
- Yes, the talented Mr. B.J. Johnson was indeed generous enough to secure me a berth on a FTL craft to the Alpha Centauri system, so that I could experience firsthand the Quatril society he has so elaborately described to me. Here you see me sating (momentarily) my feline curiosity about the intricacies of their language and the materials upon which they inscribe it. A whole lifetime isn't enough to learn about an infinite universe, but I'm not letting that stop me. Much thanks to the Bigfella for all his help and knowledge.
- Umm... Blackfrost, Digo, you might wanna go on without me... it doesn't look like Hammer Hoof wants to try and reclaim any of his past glory... <:)
- Still trying to convince Hammer Hoof... <:)
- Whoa... outa the clear blue sky (with what appears to be a timely bit of assistance from Matt Peters, thanks!) Hammer Hoof seems to be a changed horse! Maybe I can make the race after all... :)
- So, I'm at home this holiday going thru my cartoon videotapes, watching a new Felix while trying to locate a certain Beany & Cecil episode, and a sudden thought crossed my mind: "You know, you have never drawn RazBerri.." And it bugged me a bit. I mean, what would future generations think, chancing upon this archive and, upon poring thru my directory, fretfully remark, "But no pictures of RazBerri!" Obviously not the catastrophe of the century, but a notable oversight nonetheless. So I sketched this while watching B&C. Hope the RazamaTazzer doesn't mind. :)
- *You're* puzzled at my popularity, Roland? I'm getting E-mail wondering if the ratman is gonna change the name of the site to the Squeaky GENE Furry Archive! (I have NO desire to see that happen, BTW!) I canNOT figure it out... but I do know that Roland Redpelt is © G.Raymond Eddy and that Rian Real is © Chris Cummins, so at least I've got that much sense. :)
- *You're looking for those answers TOO, Ruby? Man, I don't think anyone's found those answers yet... me, I just take each day as it comes. And I try not to get my legs crossed in positions I can't get 'em out of. And also try to draw as many nice furs as I can. And a few other things. Does that make me a guru? :) Ruby is © Dawn Best. (What a lovely name..)
- Hey Sam! Thanks for the excellent drawing! :) But what's with this can't-hold-a-candle-to-me biz?? I had one of your "Zoo Trek" pics as a background on my laptop before I saw it on Yerf! :) But, of course your coolest character is yourself... there's something about toon canine detectives that just seems to "click". :) (Sam Spaniel is © Jeff Darlington)
- Sebrina Fox asked me *so* nicely for a picture of her, I just couldn't refuse! Here ya go, Sebrina! Hope ya like! Sebrina Fox © Meghan Dombrowski
- Hmm... now that is strange... Snowflake says she doesn't know why she drew me... and I don't know why I can't e-mail her. (From *any* of my ISP's) Dunno why.. but I do know that she did a beautiful picture of me! And so... :) Snowflake is © Rachel Briscoe
- Now what in the *world* is Speck ( © Susan Quigley) up to?? (Yeah, right... like she's going to *tell* us?) :)
- I've sent Barclay Johnson quite a few examples of illustrations from my SF pulp collection. I guess he's enjoyed seeing them just as much as I've enjoyed sending them, 'cause he put *me* in one of those old-time space suits! And he's right.. in space you can't hear anyone laugh at you. However, once back at the space station...:) B-Artisan is © Barclay Johnson, and although he doesn't speak our language, I guess laughter is universal. :)
- Yes! Life on Yerf has resumed. :) Unfortunately, the glitch took my pic of Gen. Talon away. So here he is again. :) Gen.Talon © his player
- Hey Timebase! Nice picture you did. You got it right... the most important thing to do is stick with it! Thanks, righteous rabbit, and when you bump into Haley on Yiffnet, give her a hyper-hug for me! :) Timebase is © Ryan Dewalt
- "Scribble"? That was no 'scribble', Kylen.. that was pure beauty! : There's a number of artists on Yerf that I don't wait for the thumbnail when they upload-the moment I see their name, I click on the pic. Kylen is one of them. Her art is so excellent it has me hunting for the remote control- they MUST be frames of classic animation! All I have to do is take the VCR off "Pause". :) Personally, I duno if Kylen actually draws anything. I think she might just *invoke* her art. Just kind of call it into existance, you know *gapes in awe* Thank you Kylen!
- Tygger Graf has rendered me... *sigh* I will try to keep my composure. YAY!!!! :) (okay, I failed!) See, the big cats with the stripes... they know secret stuff. They can make their stripes form images on the page. You can even watch them do it! Doesn't matter.. only they have the ability. Much thanks to the beautiful tigress! :)
