Welp, after seeing Al Mackey's URL for tutorials on better coloring with Photoshop, I decided to go check it out, and try it out. And you know what? IT WORKS! Finally, a tutorial that works!! (for me!!) I'm pretty pleased with this one. I'm working on a better background for it... but I think it's great. (Colorized version of bktattoo.jpg). It's "Bushdog" because my mom said it looks like a drawing of Wilhelm Busch, eh heh. I actually tried to copy my uncles' drawing style, which was pretty nifty..! I also drew a BushGuy, but since he's a humanoid (gasp!), I put him on Side7.

I originally designed Lind for roleplaying on FM, as a former Imperial Pilot. So here he is, looking a little younger and without his glasses, in his standard uniform. The rank he's wearing is Flying Officer, the equivalent of Sub-Lieutenant. This was also a little practice for Digo's 'Furry Star Wars' project. 8-{)
