- Just a page of sketches -- a wuff in different poses. I don't know what I was thinking when i did these, (or even _if_ i was thinking) but here they are.
- Strawberry Dozing on a July Morning. (16x12, oil on canvas) Just playing around with a more subdued color scheme and yet still trying to maintain strong contrast. (Strawberry is copyright... herself.)
- "Wolf Attacking a Caribou," or "Frustration At What Classifies As Fine Art." 16"x12" Oil on canvas. (Now, properly color-balanced.)
- This is April, a clouded leopard (commissioned by Katie Sickles).
- Announcing a NEW LOOK for my home-page... Stop on by, have a look around! HTTP://timothy.artistnation.com
- "Across the Koyukuk," (18"x10", Oil on Canvas). Inspired by the trip my dogs and I shared through Alaska's Brooks Range. Left to right, the dogs are, Peter Pan, Mojo, Kemu, Rascal, Wolfie and Strawberry. There'll be a short story on my website recounting the experience, for anyone wanting to know what mushing 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle was like -- it was an experience I shall never forget. ("Art is Life. If you don't life it, it won't come out of your horn." -- Winton Marcellus)
- "Campfire" (Lightwave 3D)
- "Howl," (Lightwave 3D). Arctic moon, rise over tundra spruce, ice wolf song, under drapery of light.
- "Lookouts" (Lightwave 3D).
- "Sasha" (18"x24", Oil on canvas).
- "Through the Veils" (10"x14", oil on canvas). A portrait of an old friend, for some wonderful new friends. He lived as most only dream. Jagger, 1986 - 2002. Safe and wonderful journeys, my friend. God/dess/es Bless.
- The Alaska Mint made my design of Rascal into a Commemorative Coin for the 2002 Yukon Quest!
- "Whiteout" (Lightwave + Photoshop). This is the final version of "Whiteout," (as simple as the effect may seem, it took a whole lot of re-touching to get the piece the way it was in my mind). And just in case anyone is interested, large-format prints of this and other pieces are available (including -- finally -- "When We Were Wolves")! Until the new site gets built, just e-mail me with what you're interested in!
- A fox sips his PG Tips! (Portrait of the artist.)
- He's a bubbling ol' Sidartha type. Master of the "Drunken Dragon" style of Kung-fu. He'll set you on the path of wisdom and make you think the decisions were all yours.
- When you meet that one soul that is the mate of your own, the doors of Heaven swing wide. Playing with fur-shaders; seeing if I can re-create an earlier work in 3D.
- Blessed Samhain! The veils between the worlds are thin... those who were lost can be found....
- A sketch.
- The "Itty-Bitty" Animation Timer; It's a free, fully functional Animation Timer and Time-Base Converter! Choose a format to see the timed information displayed in different Time-Bases! (Created in Flash4.) http://timothy.artistnation.com/AnimationTimer_v3.html
- He was the most handsome being I've ever met. If a picture is liken to a thousand words, it would take a thousand pictures to capture even a single moment of being in his presence. I pray that tigers will always walk among us. (ed. 200, 16"x12", canvas)
- A big, fuzzy matron, all purrs and bedtime stories.
- An updated photo of Ras and the Pack and me. Mushing the Goldstream Valley, November, 2003. (Photograph by Miriam Taylor-Cooper.)
- It is done... It is as good as I can make it. I am content with the tools and techniques it teaches; how it embodies what I have taught in person for years. It is what I wish I would have had when I first dreamed of becoming an animator, what I wish I would have had when I "Plateaued," and none around me could help me get to where I wanted to be as an artist. To quote Ms. Brisby, "You can unlock any door, if you only have the Key." May this be the Key, for a great many people, who also have dreamed "the Dream."
- Ever edited in Premiere before? This fur has... Just an expression doodle focused from a multi-week long bout between myself (who certainly does not claim to be an editor) and a piece of software (that claims much about being an editing program, but falls far short). I suppose we must also note, that Avid is no better about leaving your hard-won files alone after a crash.
- More expression studies... Seeing if I can pull off something not usually within my range.
- Just a quick tea-house doodle.
- With solomness and respect, Bakita pays homage to the spirit of one far greater than he.
- Just trying something mundane. A tiger taking off a jacket.
- A father shows his daughter the stars for the first time, long before she has words to ask all the questions that fill her heart with wonder.
- Sometimes... the grapes are sweet.
