Still working on this one. I plan on adding a background, when I figure out what it should be! This still has some issues with contrast, but I am pretty pleased with it, overall. Prismacolors on bristol, woo.
This is one of my favorite styles to work in. I have never seen anything done in this style before, though I am sure it is out there somewhere; until I see it, I am gonna happily claim it as mine. I need a name for it though . . . my website (NOT terzyfur.com) is going to be done like this. And yeah, that fox could easily snag those grapes . . . but what you DON'T know is that he twisted his foot, and can't jump. So they are still out of his reach. YAY PLAUSIBILITY!
A tropical species of iguana sits on a rock in the Galapagos islands. His gi-like robe is decorated with Bird-of-Paradise flowers, to remind him of his far-off tropical home. A companion piece to this, of an island iguana in a rainforest setting, is currently in the works. Markers and colored pencil on sketchbook paper.
Fanart for Kim Arndt, of the characters from her very funny and well-drawn comic, "Moondog". I chose this image because frankly, I am very pleased with the inking and composition, and I believe that I captured the characters well. This was inked with a #0 paintbrush and india ink, and colored with Trias and prismacolor pencils oin cardstock. It was alot of fun to do, and Kim liked it, too.
I sometimes draw my boyfriend as a yellowish fox. Here he is dressed as a thug *snort*, against some graffitti. This was originally intended to go onto an envelope, but I got a little carried away . . .
Shelly M's doberman character, Dawndra. True Scissors refers to how a Dobie's teeth should align, when being evaluated in the ring or whatever.
Linedots Lineart. Dig his flower-power groovitude! Gotta love them turtles.
OK, there's this guy, Michel Gagne (look him up) he is way too incredible. He did this book, Insanely Twisted Rabbits. It inspired this.
Did this about a year ago, for Kenket's trading post . . . Raven and Coyote! Sharpie marker and highlighter, no undersketch or ANYTHING @_@
