OK, I know we aren't supposed to upload oekaki images, but I am just really happy with the colors and composition on this. I am even reproducing it on a very large canvas in acrylics, along with a few other similar paintings. Referenced from a photo by javachickn, posted with her permission.
A sketchy tumbling gryphon that I rather like. I like to draw gryphons, but I hate the way all my images of them come out, so nobody ever sees them. I thought the pose in this was nice enough to compensate for the anatomy and face >_<
Inspired by Jen's awesome iPod-related images. It's true, iPod r0z0rz. I don't have one yet, but my lovey-boy does, and he lets me play with it. I might be getting one soon though! Yay! And in case anyone is wondering what these images are based on, go here: http://www.apple.com/ipod/ads woot. Shake yo' booty mama.
I needed a photo up. I will probably change this soon, this was taken in July and I have changed somewhat . . . but this really shows me well, in that it combines several of my favorite things . . . drawing, having an audience, having kids around, and being outside. On a roof. And wearing knee-length denim shorts, that too.
A sketch from early last year. which my darling delectable dumpling colored as a surprise. THANK YOU, NICOLE! Her site is under construction, at insomniacsdream.net.
One of my entries for the logo competition the Old Louisville Coffeehouse is having. Old Louisville is swarming with squirrels, hence this little guy. The other logo is a coffeecup surrounded by ivy, pretty cool stuff. I think I have a good shot at winning this sucka, woo!
Last one (for now, bwahahaa). These are all going to a local coffeehouse . . . this is for the Mexican Brew, the dragon is for Dragonwell Tea, and the cat is for Black Cat Blend. My other black cat design is better though.
Panel out of a comic I am working on with my little sis. Here is Obsoj (Obligatory Bunny Superhero of Justice) fighting the forces of evil (being played by a giant carrot.) Trying to work on my inking . . . it didn't turn out to well on the bunny, but I really like the carrot.
Peace Lily and I are doing a collaboration. I sketched this, she inked it, and this is what I have colored so far. She was supposed to color Sadie, but due to overwhelming pressure to finish finals and write papers and whatnot. she is going to let me finish it. So here it is in it's current state, and I'll reupload when I'm done. And I don't know why, but this looks REALLY washed out. Hopefully I'll be able to get the next image to save nicely.
An oekaki of a blue cat. Someone commented that it reminded him of quarks and atoms, and called him a quark kitty. I liked that. I really, really love bright colors.
NorthernRaven's ass kicking royal raven, Recidavra, practicing some jumpy-flying technique. Edited for nipple content, EEP. This is for the 52nd TP, secret santa style! HOW COOL IS THAT?? Painter 8 and photoshop CS
For this week's trading post, I give you Shoomlah the tapir encountering Quetzalcoatl, the feathered snake. This took forever, but I think it turned out very well.
A yerfing clean skunk. The unedited version of this pic will go up for sale on Furbid tomorrow night, so if you are one of those many furs who are "into" shirtless skunk girls, keep an eye out. I am so shameless. And you have to love the ever-classic, "I have to pee" position ^_^
An old ballpoint pen sketch I layed some color on in Photoshop. This is Sabine, my favorite avatar . . . she is a donkey/raccoon, or donkoon. I luff her.
