Just a couple more notes I took at ConiFur last week. Hanging out with Mr. Val Pew was definitely the real, but I did get to meet a few furs that are few and far between for me... :)
Royce Raccoon, upon whose suggestion I created the Raccoon Family, thinks that the individual members should not have names, per se... but clearly defined personalities. I had already envisioned them that way, but had never outlined those personalities in depth. This is the first in a series that will, hopefully, do just that. :)
I'm full of *stars*, Ben? Cool! I'll tell my friends at work... they keep telling me I'm full of something quite else. ;) Meanwhile, here's a *real* Ursa Major for you. :)
A warm welcome to one of my talented artist friends I have had a lot of great E-mail correspondance with, who has newly joined the SCFA! B.J.Johnson... the inimitable BIGFELLA himself! Here's one of the many fantastic creatures he has introduced me to... my Capellan crewmember, B-Artisan, as he and Gene perform their duties. Keep an eye out for B.J's art, folks... the BIGFELLA is good! :)
Kynliod D. did a beautiful pic (what else? :) ) of her and her boyfriend, just "doing nothin'". Well, I got the rare opportunity to do that with my lady cat again this last weekend, and let me tell you... that's the most valuable 'nothin' in the whole world! :)
Here is a test pic requested by the Trixilop of one of the characters she and Tet are working on for their post-TW story. Trixi seemed to like it so here's my test pic of Dahlia. :)
Well, since it appears to be 'all clear' to do so on Yerf (Tiffany Soto already gave it away :) ) here is that evil "double" of mine, Dr. Catlove, as Grand Moggy Tarkin, the role he will play in Digo's Furry Star Wars story. "Moggy" is a British nickname for cat, and is used as kind of a tribute to actor Peter Cushing, who was Tarkin in SW and one of the greatest British actors who ever lived. :)
Mom sighs a deep sigh... and if you've ever been in this situation... on either the trying-to-figure-out-who-did-it side OR the trying-to-squirm-out-of-it side, you'll understand.
I got to visit the usual crew at Kevin J's place last weekend, and I finally got the chance to make a good reference drawing of the sterling Mr. Simpson in his dragon form. As you can tell, he actually does have wings, but they are a bit undersized. (I think, that is. I could be wrong.)
YES!! The dauntless Dawneater was so generous as to do a GREAT pic of me as Uncle Jam, I just *had* to do one of him as the legendary Bootsy Collins!! 2 much entelechy on you Big D! And oh yes... this is the Pinocchio Theory... don't fake the funk or your nose will grow!!
(Wanted to submit this earlier but had a commish and a fanzine submission to do!) When Timebase changed my age, I managed to get back to my De-Aging device. But the blasted thing had some kind of hardware failure, as you can see. So it'll be awhile before I can get myself straightened out. Arthritis, you know. :)
Once again, Arved, you've done a wonderful job of rendering my little procyon pals! Sorry that they ate your entire supply, but rest assured, they have no intention of stopping there... now, they're coming after me! :)
