Scott Alston asked if Misty Pine could meet the Raccoon Kids! Looks like she did! But please... don't ask me what they're up to... I have no idea. :) (Misty is © Scott Alston, btw.)
A lil' while ago Mary Mouse posted some poses of herself, which looked a lot like another char. designed by an educational book co., "Merry Mouse". (She teaches *ballet*, and is very BORING.) I thought about rendering Merry on Yerf (dunno about ©) THEN I thought, "why not draw *Mary* teaching the way that other mouse did? :)" The moment my pencil touched the page I thought what Mary would do to me if I DARED do something as dumb as that. So I drew this instead. Just because I got 9 lives doesn't mean I should take chances. <:) M. Mouse is © M. Minch.
Well, the Raccoon Kids' parents may have curtailed their chocolate consumption, but Heaven Scent and Hysteria seem to want the fun to continue... So be it! :)
Gene tries to recuperate after the discovery that MelSkunk has received her wings (snif) But.. the Raccoon Kids' Dad has his own concerns. (P.S. For the playacting-perception challenged out there, I KNOW Mel has not passed on! :) )
The Active Raccoon Kid is still kinda hyper from all the chocolate he consumed, but I got him to slow down enough to tell me about the Fighter Furs movie. (Thanks to G. Raymond Eddy for the nice football uniform idea!)
The Active Raccoon Kid gets the scoop on the upcoming movie "Recoil". Professor Badgerton asks to have conveyed to Haley his heartfelt thanks for the nice picture she drew of him. And apparently there's been some kind of time-wrinkling tomfoolery taking place. Busy around here, ain't it? :)
Well, the Raccoon Kids and Kendall have arrived at the Furriplex 6... but they aren't the only ones who want to see the new Connor Phalanx movie, "Recoil". Ferris wants to see it too! He also wants something else... :) Ferris is © Thomas K. Dye and Kendall is © Eric Goodwin
Kendall and the Raccoon Kids had a good time at the movies! The Active One is already making plans to come back tomorrow for the double bill of "Recoil" and "Delta Furs"! Thanks for the info, Abacus! Myself, I plan to catch that stylish remake of "Inside Information". Toby Hopper and Shiela Bowstreet should make for a dynamic couple... and of course a bluesy jazz soundtrack is icing on the cake!
The story continues...:) The Active Raccoon Kid goes with his brother and sister to see "Shockwave" and gets a bit of a shock himself...! Prof. Badgerton © Clifford Lieder and Kendall © Eric Goodwin
Hmmm... it turns out the Active Raccoon Kid wasn't actually responsible for the wrinkle in time after all! Now what...?
The Raccoon Kids are leaving the theatre, but they aren't much thinking about the movie they saw... In the background Kevin and Renata (who are both © Thomas K. Dye) try to sort out their strategy...
Dingus, Fuzzybear, Trixi, Kevin J and I all got together at the Great Mall for one of those weekend micro-cons, and this was something Trixi (who has already referred to CatsWhisker as Mrs. Catlow) requested I draw. :) In the stories CW and I write about our characters, this is a definite future scene. In RL.. well... if we get lucky... <:)
Here it is! By Yours Mewly, the rendition of Mutt Peters ... :) © Matt "B-Man" Peters
To all my friends, to all the SCFA artists, to everyone who helped me get to this happy point in my artistic life, this is for you. My 200th picture on the SCFA. Many thanks to you all! (And a special thanks to Coyote Nate for the idea!) If I left anyone out (and I guess I must have) I apologize... but I tried to squeeze in everyone I knew! *sigh* I wish I knew what else to say... but all I can think of is to simply repeat: Much Love 2 U All!!! :)
Well... there was *no way* I was going to be able to top the picture I drew for my 200th upload, so I didn't try. :) Instead, I decided to honor the friends I have made on the SCFA *since* that milestone. Doesn't seem like it's been that long, at least not to me. Guess it's true what they say about time flying when you're having fun. :) Much love 2U all!
Nothing stays the same. The archive has gone through a lot of changes while I've been here. Since my centenary pics are tributes to my friends, I dedicate my 400th to those who I used to share the archive with. In some cases their departure was according to their wishes. In other cases, it wasn't. Some of them have gone on to other places with their art. Some are gone.. and I may never see their art again. Catnel, Peejster, Abe, Confetti, Sirius, Fauxx, Pepe and Horse, you're still stars in *my* sky. :)
I don't know if I'll do this again, since one of my *very* few critics says such pics are pretentious. (Besides, with all the capable young artists on Yerf now, numbers like this probably won't be a big deal in the future.) But the serendipidy of this happening on my birthday was too delightful to pass up. So this ol' alley cat will indulge himself. My *500th* Yerf pic. :) Anybody I forgot, I didn't mean to. Yerf rules, and so do you all. :)
A request pic for the terrific TrixiLop... who obviously doesn't believe in letting us furs with a "few years" on us just fade away.. ;) 'cause she bade me draw her Nana Bunny! (I bet Alistair would mind *her*, Trixi... :) )
And here's Coyote Nate at the used record store, working on completing his collection of classic vinyl. Coyote Nate © Nate Patrin
The charming Chilly Mouse was indeed correct in her depiction of Yours Mewly entranced by her art as my screen background. :) But one of the things I also saw was her letting us know her CD-Rom drive had gone bad. *sigh* :( If I could, Chilly, I'd do this for you. <:) The very nice Chilly M. is © the equally nice Erika L.R.
A couple of years ago, a group of rather clueless aliens tried to work some mischievous iniquities upon the Raccoon Kids. It didn't work. :) But apparently they still don't quite have a clue...
Well, yes Ben.. the aliens can come out and play. But they've met you before, and the way you play scares them (whatever-those-watery-green-stains-in-their-uniforms-are)less. Threldane once spoke of you, and all I caught of his conversation was "my helmet", "like aluminum foil!" and "big MAD Earther bruin". O_O
Now, these same clueless aliens have bumped into the devious Doktor Catlove (who seems to be in the process of making off with some goodies that do not belong to him) and they do indeed seem *extremely* clueless in that they mistake him for ME! O_O
Unfortunately, Dr. Catlove has taken advantage of our resemblance before. To my temporary disadvantage, and his permanent misfortune. Seems he never learns, though... <:)
Aaaack... that's just exactly what the good Doktor *didn't* need to have happen... Endgame showing up just as he's forging an alliance with the Dumonians! Fortunately, Zordak and Belzon are easy enough to handle - just act bellicose around them, they will not ask questions. <:)
Now, Zordak and Belzon report to Nedlor (oops, sorry... Great Nedlor), their leader, in hopes that their recent acheivements will help erase their past bumbling. (At least they keep trying...)
This much can be said for Zordak and Belzon - they mean well. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be able to *do* well. No sooner do they promise their leader a victory than they discover they've been saucerjacked. "Gone in less than 60 Seconds", too. Hoo boy... O_O
One of the perks (or pitfalls?) of being an evil villian is that you can go off-topic rather abruptly and still not sound like you're just prattling on. (Much.) <:)
The Doktor can scarcely believe his goggled eyes... Did Endgame *really* do that? O_O
Personally, I wish Endgame hadn't done that... that's just what the Doktor *shouldn't* order! <:/
