Brian Rogers (Marcello Rupelli) —2/4 >
- One of the last Marcello pics I've done. Marce and Veronica prepare to tear things up a bit in this original street rod design of mine. And he's not losing it, those are suicide doors. Open the wrong way.. nevermind.
- Sort of a new character of mine. Always kinda dug rams. Tough-looking ya know. He seems to be bleeding a bit there...
- This is my first attempt(from about 2 years ago) to computer-color an inked drawing. Marcello and Veronica keeping an eye on things.
- "BACK!! BACK!! BACK!! BACK!!" "Hey! shut the ____ up!!" I just thought the artwork to the Limp Bizkit CD was pretty cool =)
- Now, I'm not sure this is a very nice thing to do to a fur =) Actually, this won't go uncontended as Marcello might just have to start a bit of tickle-torture mayhem now! This is the lead-in to a commission for StormWolf, inked by dip pen and colored in Photoshop/Painter. StormWolf is a character of Chris Zawadzki. Marcello Rupelli is a character of Brian Rogers. - Hehe, dunno about this one. It's kinda been laying around a while. And that's a bag of Skittles in mid-air...
- Happy Birthday RazBerri! Again =P Hope it's the right cheese variety, there's about 5,400 wheels of it in there =) Started as a 3DStudio mesh, redrawn in pencil, colored in Photoshop. Image © 1998 some putz named Brian Rogers...
- Let's see.. if Yerf is on Pacific time I've made it =) I seem to have found Raz TOO big a chocolate bunny ;) Ooof!!
- This one's only about an hour worth of coloring. A little better on the medeival color scheme here =)
- My personal car is a much modified '77 Chevy Caprice. This is a pic I did (altered from Diablo.jpg) to put on the dash at car shows to keep people from touching.
- Semi-old drawing started just after newdress.jpg and finshed about a half hour ago. Seems Veronica's talked herself into the driver's seat of a Lamborghini Diablo for a quick hot lap. Yeah, like she'd have to talk much dressed like that...
- From the same time frame as BigUnit. Marcello is a little overprotective of his new Lamborghini. :)
- Uh... sketch of an unnamed skunk looking a little confused(or sloshed =)
- This was originally a sketch on a co-workers calendar. I traced it on my tablet into Painter and went to town with the 'loaded oils' brush. Don't think too hard about what Marcello's drawing, it's a buncha gibberish. © 1998 Brian Rogers
- I thought about seeing how close I could get a drawing to a technical illustration. I'd say this is getting there. The original is bigger, but this focuses more on Marcello. Just not sure I feel like coloring all that grey paint and steel...
- Finally done, I hope. Started this in January and have been coloring it little by little since then. Still sorting out using true perspective. Let me know if this was worth half a year's wait ;)
- A crude little experiment with pastel pencils. Marcello with his hair down.
- *whew* Back to the computer for this one. I have NO CLUE what is going on here, it just sorta came together this way. It's ErinV's cool cat/wolf character, Ell. She seems to be doing some sort of panic-stop. Uh...
- I tried to do this one while at KainCon, but it sucked severely. So here's take 2, tho I'm still not sure Sir Kain will be impressed by Eric Skunk sitting on the hood of his ride =/ If the perspective looks messed up, it's because the front wheels are turned. Ohwell. Pen and ink on bristol, pencil shaded. Eric Skunk is a character of Eric Goodwin, image © 1998 Brian Rogers. P.S. the original's on it's way, Eric.
- Happy Birthday to Chad Yaffe!! I saw his upload earlier and thought I should do something for a cool fellow fur on his day. So, here's Erica Rose holding the keys to his Ranger. Sounds like a poor judgement call to me =) Anyway, Erica Rose is a character of Chad Yaffe, Image © 1998 Brian Rogers
- Happy Birthday Erin! Here it is, my month-long labor of love ;) So if any of you miss seeing me upload, blame her =)P I love you too, Erin, we'll be together soon enough ;)
- Marcello says his last goodbyes as Veronica counts the zeros (there should be at least 7 digits on that check). Forced to sell his late father's Ferrari 250GTO race car for financial reasons, Marcello seems quite troubled. His father, Vincenzo, drove the car to several victories for his loving wife and adoring son. Simply pencils on copy paper. Marcello, Vincezo and Veronica Rupelli are characters of Brian Rogers. Image © 1998 Brian Rogers.
- Yeah, heck of a Happy New Year...
- A special picture for a great friend. Here's Phillip Penny's white wolf, Blitz charming Veronica with his grace. She seems a lot more impressed then Marcello... Ohwell, he'll get over it. Blitz is a character of Phillip Penny; Marcello Rupelli and Veronica are characters of Brian Rogers; image © 1998 Brian Rogers. I really should come up with a last name for Veronica...
- For the ever cool Tracy Butler, it's Cassy =) I'm trying to get some of my Photoshop projects done. Finally...
- Just a quick experiment in hard lighting and shadows.
- Now for some marker shading practice. This one's also not as smooth as I'd like. Ohwell, next time...
- I really think I'd rather have an empty water gun then be standing on a white X! This time, RazBerri's had it, 'cause Wile E.'s traps never fail... er... A little late, but at least I'm starting to get some pics done now. So if I owe you a drawing, just sit tight, I'll get to it soon. Image © 1998 Brian Rogers. character ownership is on the pic.
- Yay, done before Christmas!! =) Uh, guess that's about all I got to say about that. It's just me and my Razzles snuggling in front of a cozy fire, no?
- One of my latest works; this was scanned from a sketch and colored in Photoshop 4.0. I thought I'd try to eleminate all the black outlines;it worked, but was too much hassle to try too many more times :-)
