The long dog days of summer have begun. At least they have in my head, as whenever I wake up during daylight, I hear the droning of cicadas in my head whether or not they are actually outside. Actual cicadas really have nothing to do with this image. Done in colored pencils with a bit of black ink. Its been sitting around unfinished since November but I needed something to warm up my fingers after taking a badge break.

Something I did over a year ago that I don't think I ever scanned in. I was messing around with actual watercolors for once, rather than the watercolor pencils I use on occassion for more gory images. I -do- actually like the original though insofar as coloration. Some characters are just nigh-on impossible to match to a background if you follow their descs as much as possible. It had a purpose once, but that passed almost as soon as it was finished as a sketch, which was all I was to do with it. Anyhow, initial intents, gone, I finished it. Original is pretty much for sale. Maybe at Midwest Furfest. Maybe Furbid. Maybe to someone who emails me with something spiffy before then. Who knows. I'm just glad I finally got it off my desk.
