- A marker-doodle of Nisyha Kylborne. I need to learn how to draw again and stuff -- I forgot. ;p Nishie looks different in this one, eh? Nisyha © Emily Kilborn. Uh, I mean Smith. :)
- I need to keep the drawing materials out of the TV room... and I need to get a decent pen so I can trying inking every once in a while. I drew this after the Dr. Da Silva one, on 9-19-98.
- Now none of y'all can keep saying I don't draw Pooka. >:) "Anastasia" © Fox.
- Sure, she's scaly, not furry, but hey... :) This is my second completely mouse-drawn pic (from before The Time Of The Scanner), and it's truly ancient. We're talking circa early eight grade, here. I still like it after all this time, which is a miracle, man. It's sort of my logo now, me being -- ahem -- "Jurassic Jessica Park". (Throw-back nickname from sixth grade.) Raptor Red, whom this is a picture of, is © Dr. Robert Bakker! (And the book kicketh donkey, as well, so I recommend it to any and all dinosaur-lovers!)
- Just another sexy furry babe. Hang this one up in your lockers, boys!
- On 9-3-98: I think this one is cute. :) I love sketches, and there's just something about this particular pic that I like.
- It's cuter than the original. ...Well, it was cute before I hit "Rebuild," anyway. :)
- Stanley Steamer! I was doodling the cover of "Man from Mundania" in World History last week, so here's a sketch of Stanley, the Gap Dragon of Xanth. Stanley Steamer © Piers Anthony. :)
- 7-15-99: This pic is all Swenyo's fault. =)
- Just because I'm not drawing furries lately, does that mean I have to go through upload withdrawal? :)
- Fox's first animated movie, "Anastasia," looks really, really good, IMO. The funny thing is, I was looking at Anastasia and I thought, "Man, she reminds me of Taan... a lot." The hair colour, the hairstyle, the look, everything. (Not to mention the male lead, Dimitri, made me think of Kit.) Then, the other day, after deciding to do a couple of sketches of Taan in Anastasia's outfits, I got an email from ShadowWolf saying that Anastasia looked something like Taan and that Kit could pass for the main male lead. Psychic, no? :) So, here're my sketches! Taan © me, "Anastasia" © Fox.
- Another piccie of Taan as Anastasia/Anya. I stayed home today 'coz I feel really crappy, so I got a chance to do some drawing. Unfortunately, I was at the new house and I'd forgotten my pencil sharpener, so that wasn't fun. Not to mention the fact that I didn't have access to a scanner or a computer 'coz we haven't moved either of them over yet. And *now* we have to go back in, like, five minutes, so my other few sketches'll have to wait to uploaded. Oy. Taan © Jessica Park, Anastasia © Fox.
- A piccie of Ty in Anastasia's black dress. This was in the lyric book to the soundtrack. Ever since I was little, I've wanted to be an animator for Disney. (Hey, I live in Florida, Disney capitol of the world.) Now, though, since Don Bluth and Gary Goldman have teamed with Fox, I may be changing my mind -- I want to be an animator for Fox now. The name fits. =) Taan © me, Anastasia © Fox.
- I decided I didn't like the lettering on the old "taanany5.gif," so I erased it and replaced it. :) Taanastasia! Yay! Taan © Jessica Park, "Anastasia" © Fox.
- Did this one just for the heck of it while I was drawing that pic of Ty and Jerry. Another pic of Ty in Anastasia's outfit. I think this one turned out pretty okay. :) Taan © Jessica Park, "Anastasia" © Fox. Must.. get... sleep... ug.
- "Anastasia" was incredible. It was just... wow. I don't know what it was, but that movie had more of an effect on me than any other movie -- live-action or animated -- ever has. And the Taan = Anya, Kit = Dimitri thing was too spooky. I think I'll have to whine and plead and beg and grovel and convince my dad to let me go see it again today. =) Taan © Jessica Park, "Anastasia" © Fox.
- Taan/Anastasia at eight years old. Might colour this one in. (Probably not. I'm lazy.) Drew this one last night while listening to "Once Upon a December". Really pretty song. Speaking of December, my birthday's coming up! (Sorta.) Come December 25th -- yep, I'm a Christmas baby -- I'll finally be fifteen. Yippee! :D Anyways, Taan © Jessica Park, Anastasia © Fox.
- More Anastasia outfits! I drew this one yesterday, but didn't get around to inking/cleaning up/colouring till this afternoon. Ty looks a little younger than usual in this pic. I think it turned out rather nice (gawd, you should see the first version of this pic, drawn back on November 2nd.. it's frightening), but I'd love to be able to draw more than simple dresses/outfits. Anyone out there with any advice or anything on how to draw those really pretty, elegant, fancy-schmancy gowns? Taan © Jessica Park, "Anastasia" © Fox.
- I'm actually happy with this one. (Wow. This is a rare thing.) I figured out how to make a background almost exactly how I wanted it, so I'm all proud 'n' stoof now. :) Taan © Jessica Park, "Anastasia" © Fox.
- Trying desperately to break out of this drawing rut, I sat down this afternoon and sketched for twenty, twenty-five minutes. Got four pretty decent sketches done in that time; here's one of them after I inked it (and, subsequently, screwed up big-time on the muzzle) and coloured it on the computer. With the exception of the inking, I think it turned out pretty nice. :) Taan © me, "Anastasia" © Fox.
- Another sketch. :) Taan copyright Jessica Park, "Anastasia" copyright Fox.
- This one turned out sorta weird, but I like it anyway. I'm experimenting with snouts/muzzles now. (Oo, how special.) Taan copyright that girl that needs more sleep, namely moi, and "Anastasia" copyright Fox. And remember, kiddies, shake pens with the caps *on*!
- Another sketch. I'm surprised. I actually went and coloured in, like, four sketches or something; I feel/look/sound absolutely miserable, since I'm sick as a dog right now (no offense to any canines). Anyway, this is Taanastasia at eight years old, running. Oo, crappy shading, yay... :) Isn't she cute? Taan © me, "Anastasia" © Fox.
- Need... sleep... Rita, please don't kill me. =) Okay, this here is Rita as Sophie (yes, she had to gain a bit of weight for this role, but Sophie's cool and so is Rita, so...), Taan as Anya (what did you expect?), and a surprise cameo by Azy as Sophie's kitty-cat. :) No, this pic isn't great, but it's not bad. Anyhoo, Taan © me, Rita © Liz V., Asrial © Jessica Heyl (hope I spelled that right), and "Anastasia" © Fox. BTW, for a pic of how Rita -really- looks, check out a pic by Del at: http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Cafe/1640/Raytah.jpg
- ShadowDrm, is this close to what you were talking about? :) I like this one a bunch more than the last one; the inking went better. Yay. Taan copyright Jessica Park, "Anastasia" copyright Fox.
- Sat down last night and drew a young Taanastasia sketch; I thought it turned out really cute, myself. :) I'll probably colour it later on, but I really don't want to risk screwing up the sketch right now. Taan © Jessica Park, "Anastasia" © Fox.
- Now you tell me this isn't cute. :) Taan © Jessica Park, "Anastasia" © Fox.
- Stupid dithering. Whimper. Ah well. I think this turned out well and Emily says she thinks it's pretty. And my poor Tria babies are getting quite a bit of usage this week, aren't they? :) I got to use Em's beautiful pen, though! (Yay!)
- I rather like this one. :) Looks far better IRL, though, and it's larger, as well. But still, I'm pretty happy with this pic.
- Ty, just hanging around in her tanktop and boxers. Taan © me! 6-20-97.
