- Normally it takes me a lot of time to pencil a character, and even more time to ink it satisfactorily. While at a convention in New Zealand, I decided to try to complete a picture in under an hour. The result isn't sophisticated, but it was fast!
- It's been a couple of months since I uploaded any chakat art, so here's a couple to keep you amused! Here a chakat discovers a new friend... a Pernese fire-lizard! Okay, so they're from different universes, but wouldn't it be nice? Art © 2000 Bernard Doove.
- First of two pictures illustrating the story of first-contact with the Rrakith, a felinoid species. The story is printed in South Fur Lands, the Australian furry magazine!

- Our young kitten lad is much happier with this computer toy: a fishy screensaver!
- Umm, Lindgold, just how many chakats did you test the Feline Flying Jackets on? Goldfur seems to be having a bit of a flying problem. Everyone DUCK! Lindgold ©; Grant Preston, Gene Catlow ©; Albert Temple, Chakat Goldfur ©; Bernard Doove.

- A portrait of Chakat Forestwalker as shi looked as a teenager. This was a pencil sketch in a friend's blackbook. It came out rather well, despite the speed with which it was done, although I see some flaws now. After a little modification to suit Yerf standards, I'm sharing it with everyone else.
- Chakat Goldfur and Garrek Redfox dance at the Foxtaur Harvest Festival. I'm not satisfied with the perspective and a few other details, but I still think it's a fun piece. This is an illustration for my story - Forest Tales #4: Family. Goldfur and Garrek are © 1999 Bernard Doove.
- "The Furry Generation" Commander Paul Lynxor of the U.S.S.Venturer.
- A foxtaur huntress who uses just a simple spear. I can't seem to get the face right. Art © 1998 B.Doove
- My contribution to the Great New Zealand Tour pics that Terry Knight started off. Of course, my first port of call was Wellington. That's where the plane landed! It was my second visit to the city, but the first time that I got to travel around much by myself. I discovered that the hills have hills there! This is my take on the situation. The perspective was very hard for me to get right. Goldfur is © 1999 Bernard Doove.
- One of the most fascinating places to visit is Hellsgate in the geothermal regions of Rotorua. It has geyser, boiling mud, steaming vents, and sulphur encrusted rocks. However, the most ubiquitous thing about the Rotorua region is the smell. Sulphur Dioxide, better known as rotten-egg gas was our constant companion. Some places were just worse than others! I was rather pleased with this rear shot of Goldfur. MayFurr is © Terry Knight, Goldfur and Art are © 1999 Bernard Doove.
- After spending a wonderful New Year's Eve in Rotorua, it was time to move on. However, first we went to have breakfast in a cafe next door to our accomodations. To say service was slow would be an understatement. MayFurr's took 30 minutes while I had to wait another fifteen minutes for mine after stirring up the waitress. It took us an hour to have breakfast before we could head off to Auckland. By contrast, we had dinner at The Sultan's Table and we were served a delicious meal in seven minutes!
