A pic for DC, in appeciation for sharing all of your great art with the world. :) I even gave ya a rectangular background. ;P
I like the way this, and the other following it, "silver.jpg" came out. Computer colored in photoshop, with the airbrush as I'm sure you could tell. But well, I don't paint that well with traditional materials, and don't have the $$$ right now to buy paints and canvas to practice. I can however practice lighting and shading with the computer, and I think I did pretty well here. Thanks =)
And another character from my new story/project. Algar, the leader of the dingoes ain't too happy with his warriors when they fail to catch one scrawny little 'Roo.
A picture for Nebby. Thanks for all the work you've done so far, I feel lucky to have you on the team. ;)
Anuket, the black Jackal. =) Anuket is © Britt
My character Gus, the original Samoyed from Arctic Thunder. A big flirt and the town jerk, hehe. Showing off his famous "Sammy Smile". Image ©Krazyklaws
It's...me. ;)
A colored pencil piece I finally got around to uploading. It sold at AC. yay :)
Luna crosses through the Death realm. What I like about this peice: The colors came out nice and bright and create a contrasted sense of mood. I also like Luna's design, this will likely be the final one. What I don't like: That stupid tree on the right turned out just terrible, the background forest's depth got a bit flattened out, and I still have to figure out a better way to make special effects, like glows, with color pencil.
For a very wonderful person whom I consider it honor to call a friend. =) ::hugs:: BlackFrost © Julie Wondra, Pic me.
Cutie, non-morphic Blackpaws...er...pawz! ;)
This started out as a doodle during some Poke'mon role play =) Inspired by the dragon poke'mon I guess. Anyway, I've been feeling really bored with computer coloring lately and seeing so many people here doing beautiful work with traditional meduims, I decided to pratice some. So this sea-dragoness creature is done in markers and colored pencil. I had started a background, but it looked simply awful, so I cropped it out o.O
Working on this character's design...I love that hair =)
A watercolor/colored pencil high priestess with an Art Nouveau inspired border. This has a sister piece which I hope to get finished by the end of the week. The colors are much nicer in real life. blah.

This was done in colored pencil, on 16x12 masonite. I am really happy with how this turned out, although I still need some work on creating a more realistic look for the ground. Anyone have any tips for that broken up earth/dirt type of thing? Also, this will be up for auction on Furbid(http://www.furbid.ws)...as soon as I can get furbid to work correctly. So just keep an eye out for the next few days. ;) (Anyone else who uses that site, please help me if you can...my auctions seem to be posting blank and I can't, for the life of me, figure out why.) Thanks.
This was inspired by the song "Standing outside the fire" by Garth Brooks. I could be wrong, but I think I'm actually getting better at using those prismas.
Darvan, a nefarious Golden Eagle.
These are the first draft character designs for a new story/cartoon idea I came up with. I'm very happy with what I have so far plot and character personality wise. For the design of the dogs I wanted them to be semi-realistic but still simple enough to be animatable. Anyway, I would really appeciate some feedback on this since I'm still fleshing out these designs. Thanks!
Rough sketch, "Wolf" concept art.
Finally finished this one. I'm not thrilled with the coloring, but I'm still experimenting and learning with markers. I think I just need a larger variety of colors to work with.
I admire Tracy Butler's art sooo much! My favorite character of hers is Dustin. After reading his char. description, I figured there must be a point where his ego crashes revealing a bit of true sentiment. I couldn't bring myself to color this in my usual cartoon cel flat color, Tracy's own illustrations having so much depth. But I have no painting skills of my own, so I stuck with the computer and used airbush tool to give the image a more painted look. Though it took me 3 hours I'm really happy with it. =) Dustin and Fox ©Tracy the Mag.
Part of series of paintings, this is the element "Earth" as a wolf. Painted in Acrylics. (If whomever had requested these images could email me...I switched addresses and lost yours. Thanks)
Just a little baby Fennec, colored pencils with a portrait like goauche sponged background. http://www.furbid.ws/cgi-bin/auction.pl?furry&1034564907
Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on this pic in the forums. :)
A fox girl...those little floaty things are supposed to be fireflies.
A kit fox in a garden. To-be-colored as soon as I get the time.
I love Frollo's horse! They're such a gorgeous breed. Here's a Fresian stallion in 'Spirit' style, which I saw today. Fabulous movie,a definate must see.
Concept art for "Wolf" of the two main characters, Janus and Brett. This was originally colored in markers...but, uh, I screwed that one up majorly.
