This is a pretty decent example of how I used to draw, before I started toying around with different ideas and styles. My art teacher in high school had to railroad me into putting down my #2 pencil and working with something else... I think I'll go buy refills for my mechanical pencil now. ;oP

After listening to some peaceful piano music and thinking about sunsets (I go nuts over a good sunset.. especially the ones over Monterey Bay), I came up with this. I used Prismacolor markers as a base, then went over that with color pencil. The majority of the sky and grass is color pencil though. I'm hoping to improve on my sunset depictions. Confound this super dreary weather.
