All the talk about Unicorns on the newsgroup led to this. This is what I usually draw my unicorns to look like, or rather used to. It's been a long time, but this is my basic shape, although they come however I want them to:P This one seems to be slightly mired in mud, and this was only a 20 minute image... done quickly in pencil then inked.

And this little unicorn is pretty much straight cervine, but for the requisite lion's tail, goat's beard, and horn. (And feathers. I can never resist feathers.) Gamma-overcorrected HB pencil.
