A jackalope pic out of my "Incarmination" sampler. Drawing cute guy pinups is an exercise for me. I can't simply default to male instinct like I can when drawing cute girls, so I have to try and compensate with other instincts and personal rules of aesthetics. This is a redone version of a (pretty lame) pencil I did almost four years ago. Much better.

I looove Judge Dredd. I came up with a little "2000 AD"-type story while I was drawing this, which explains how this duck joins the Judges and what happens to him. This is actually a pretty old picture, done back in 1995, but still one of my favorites because it actually looks like I wanted it to -- like a duck!

From sometime in 1995; important because it was the first Hellenic warrior lemur girl I did, and it clicked for me. This pic led to the "Lemuria" folio, which led to a lot of background info and eventually to the story "Tythos and the Nymph" in Furrlough #64. I might do some more Lemuria stuff someday. I like Greek mythology almost as much as I like Roman history.

Hmm.. Here is a cute pic of our friend Rage painting some strange picture. Calico is trying to figure out what it's suppose to be, and Vivian is just critisizing it. (Like she does all the time). Obviously, Rage thinks is pretty cool, all proud of his "artistic achievement". I accidently, or somehow, Rage's eyes came out yellow(???), So he looks like he is cursed by Satan.(His eyes are french green) But who cares. It's cute anyway. All characters c. to me.
