Crystal has good reason to wonder if she's actually speaking to "Gene"... because, as it turns out, she isn't. It's that mad scientist 'twin' of mine, Doktor Catlove. And yes, I think he is a few sandwiches short of a picnic. Where did he come from? Here's a hint: If you're a hobbyist, don't go trying to restore one of those old Star Trek transporters unless you know what you're doing. They WILL split you into two people. :)
