- Poor Goboe. Industrial Sergers are scary. Threading them is no joyride either.
- ..Hello Scapino... "Iz You Iz, Or Iz You Ain't My Baby?"...I like my absurdity on Toast and Jam with Tea..
- This was an art trade with the multi-talented Clio Chiang. Felidae and Scapino perform a spoof on Rodin's "Je Suis Belle", and Arlecchino eats her shoelaces..Felidae is © Clio Chiang.
- I saw THE NUTCRACKER this weekend. Thus I created this rather cutesy Harlequin and Columbina. Tis the season.
- Arlecchino. That happy boy.
- I've always wanted to attempt Shakespeare in a comic format. This spring break I'm hoping to knock something together for Othello. This is my interpretation of Iago, with the infamous handkerchief.
- I had a choice. It could draw a random gypsy cat, or read Freud for a final exam tomorrow..Freud,gypsy,Freud..It's the Id Gypsy! I'm regressing something from my childhood I think...freakin' procrastinator..
- C'est un Incroyable et une Merveilleuse. Directoire and Empire period 1790-1815. Not too terribly clever on my part, actually.
- It's a doodle of my little sister. The balm of my soul. Lately she's had her computer priveledges revoked because she hasn't seen daylight or sleep in a while. She's gonna be maaaaad. Times like these make me relieved I attend a school out of state.
- This is the last of the brown paper sketches. Like the others, it makes no sense. No need to ponder any deep meanings. There are none. Just another way to avoid getting any real work done. My offering to the Procrastination Gods!
- Torvald listing to one side. Perhaps he's tipsy. Oh, Shanandoah I long to seeee yooo...
- Took a brief hiatus from all the studying and exams to bring you- A POODLE IN A NEHRU SUIT! Muah-hah! THe HORROR of Synthetic FIBERS! BBrrr..Chilling. I'm gonna go crawl back under my rock now.
- I wasn't too entirely happy with the coloring so I quit while I was ahead. Still, I was happy enough with the drawing to post it. That and I was too lazy to redraw it.
- Bunnified stock character of the Italian Comedy. I like his shoes.
- One of my mother's students requested a scene of his role, Paris, in their last production of Romeo and Juliet. Hope you like it Fernando :)
- Pedrolino, that little sweet faced puppy dog. Puke.
- They've turned off the hot water in the dorms again. That combined with the frustration of an eight o'clock class on Plato inspired this drawing. Actually we had a very confusing discussion on cats and chairs and their relation to Plato. Of course, as an artist, I am adding to the corruption and ruin of my society. I must be stopped.
- A request from my mother as a gift to her theatre students and their recent production of Romeo and Juliet. I owed her one.
- Scapino is cranky. Yup.
- Just a sketch of Scapino. Sitting and musing. No background. No color. But life goes on. Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da.
- ACTE GRATUIT: An action performed ipmulsively, without any apparent motivation. Or there is gum on the bottom of yer shoes. Yee-ha dictionary.
- Just a little moment from the sketchbook. Got a job at a repertory theatre, probably won't be uploading much for the next two months. Not that I'm very regular about it anyway. Well, anyway it BUGS ME..
- Il Capitano Scarabombardone. Just another Zanni twit from the Commedia dell'Arte obsession.
- Scaramouche can FLY! And I'm too lazy to draw BACKGROUNDS! Yay for ME!
- This is Scaramouche, one of my favorites. Yes, I realize the legs in relation to the torso are an anotomical improbablity. Of course, by mentioning this I am only drawing more attention to it, so..never you mind.
- A new critter. Torvald Mal de Mer. I have to name everything something strange or wierd.
- This is the character from the other sketch; named Toscah. HE's much shorter, but here he looks about eight feet tall. @!#% proportions!
- Toscah, the Norse nanny..okey-doke.
- Caw-muh-dee and Trah-juh-dee logo for Troupe de Wolfe Productions, the theatre dept. of my old high school. Go wulvs. I gotsta get a life.
- Arlecchino up a tree. Somehow, he always manages to end up with his tongue sticking out..Ah well.
