- This is one of several prelim sketches in preparation for an art trade with Mayra Boyle :) Abyss © to his player- whoever he may be ^_^ And folks, PLEASE stop sending me requests :( I really feel guilty when I have to reject them- so don't send no mores!! I only do art trades and commissions. It is all that time allows!
- This is my winged wolf char. She is a servant of God that was mistakeningly misplaced and born on earth, where she now fights for justice and carries the power of God- he handles the mortal world through her. But her life has been full of hardships and sorrows. Her name is Anffodus, which is Welsh for "unfortunate". Anffodus/Unfortunate is (C) me
- I am actually pretty pleased with how this one turned out. It took longer than the last few I uploaded because I ran out of the marker I was using for Areena's body and spent days running all over Sacramento looking for an exact match ( idiots at Aaron Brothers told me Prismacolor "Bronze" did not exist >_< ) Anywise, a couple people said I didn't draw Areena often enough anymore. So here she is, dancing away in the streets of Paris with her fellow gypsy dog, a pup named Du Fond du Coeur.
- I was watching some Australian Dog Agility show yesterday and one of the dogs was a "blond border collie". I had never seen a border collie with that kind of coloring before, but thought it looked beautiful so I had to draw. The colorization ( shade of yellow, that is ) is slightly off, but it was just a quick pic :)
- A bust of the unicorn morph named Chemistry. She was done in prismacolors on black paper. Too bad the scan made it red.
- Chars I haven't drawn in a long time. Lillian and D'Artagnon, young pirates of New Orleans. D'Artagnon is obsessed with being a legend, and Lillian with avenging the murder of her father. They both meet when they find out they are both cast as crew on the same ship going to India. Throughout the story, there is relationship tension between them. Here, they have a disagreement of some sort. Both © me
- This here, Flare, the forest dog in tatters, meets who is to become her best friend and constant companion, Crystalline, for the first time. Flare and her fairy friend, Crystalline, I created quite a few years ago. I have just gotten back into the habit of drawing them. Yikes! I drew scenery!! Flare and Crystalline © me
- I really hate my scanner. *swift kick* This was the last drawing I did of 2000 featuring my two pet rats, Sir Gawain and Cy. The picture is now inaccurate, as Sir Gawain passed away a few weeks ago, and Cy grew up......and died two days ago. I think I hold the world record for the owner with the most pets that suddenly drop dead.
- My in-box was flooded with email in response to "ofmine.jpg".I was moved render another image of terrifying real-life.Because..."It's all so confusing this brutal abusing. They blacken your eyes, and then apologize.Be Daddy's good girl, and don't tell Mommy a thing.Be a good little boy and you'll get a new toy:tell grandma you fell off the swing.Hell is for children,& you know that their little lies can become such a mess.Hell is for children,& you shouldn't have to pay for your love with your bones and your flesh." Lyrics © Pat Benetar
- "Jekyll and Hyde" is my favorite musical, and I get to see it this Saturday. Here is a sketch of some of the characters..as dogs, no less.
- A blue pencil sketch of Anubis, which is unfinished. I don't know if it will ever go any farther than this, I'm afraid of getting the other arm in their properly, seeing as the right arm took me well over an hour and still didn't turn out exactly as I wanted it.
- I had been having this idea in the back of my mind to draw a "less cartoony" pic of one of my favorite characters, the little wolf/butterfly cross named Applebutter. I tried in vain to give her wings a thready, tattered, powdery and somewhat scaly look instead of trying to simplify a butterfly wing design. Whether it looks any good or convincing or not, I still like how the pic turned out and it took a few days. Color-erase pencil and prismacolor pencils on bristol board. :)
- A commission for Earl Bacon of his character, Cassie the Rock Vixen. The scanner cut off her feet, and I think I cut her dress too high. O_o Cuz now it looks like you can tell whether or not she wears underwear!
- Well- since many a person has asked, me RL pic :) Yeah- it's a crud scan of a crud photo from last year of me colorizing a pic of Colleen on the computer at the Newspaper office. I am sorry for any computer crashes this image may have caused ;) Toodles!
- I hope I got the other file to delete- because I wanted to reupload this image since the first scan was, well, crap. Anywise, Merry Christmas everyone!
- I drew this while taking a break from my animated film. ( Funny I should take a break from animation by drawing ) and I happened to have a brown and a purpa prismacolor marker in the lab with me- and well, what can you draw with that? Yerf's very own purple husky, Huskie, that's what :) She is (C) to Mayra Boyle
- That little Brittlestar, he just can't keep himself out of trouble, can he? What would these two do without Antietam all the time? Sheesh. Tiera and Brittlestar © me , so nyah!
- After me first uplad of a jaguar femme about a week or more ago, XianJaguar emailed me and gave me some kindly pointers on staying a little more true to the species. So, I did this new drawing based on what she told me. Hopefully, it is a little more accurate than the last image :)
- Heya folks- one of my more recent Commission success stories :) This is a prisma color piece that was commissioned by the friendly Kirstin Robertson of her character, Kitan. I had fun with this one- hope she enjoys it. She should be receiving it in the mail very soon :)
- Kzee-Chin, the queen of Atho-in-the-Sky. Her reign sees the end of her city after she is killed in the war between humans and rats. Drawn and cross-hatched with a bic pen. Yes, I ' was crazy. But a 3 hour art history class is even crazier. I might color this...someday... Character © Socar Myles
- Beware the nude lemur imposters with mis-matched ears. Original un-edit version up for auction somewhere.
- Another upload, which means my scanner wet itself with giddiness as it discolored the image, cut off portions of it, and added in a decorative streak of discolor right down the middle. Joy!! :D Anywise, this was a mixed media piece I did of Sarah Wheeler's Manawolf, just for the heck of it. I wanted to play around with some different blending techniques and so this is the product of my experiments ;) Manawolf © Sarah Wheeler
- 2 characters from the story about rats I was writing in my spare time based on my real-life pets of the past. Baby Phoebus spills a pail of water ( or is it milk? I can't decide ) all over Michelle's tail, which she wrings in irratation. And before I get caught out for anatomy- rats don't have thumbs :) So that's why her hands/paws look kind of odd. And I know her left hand looks kind of weird wrapped around the tail- but that's because I accidently inked the tail before I drew the hand. D'oh!
- Even though the image is dated 2000 ( the date of it's coloring ), it was originally a scribble done back in 99 that was abandoned because it was one of those ones that just didn't turn out right no matter how many times you tried. Well, I found it again and foolishly thought I could help it. Meh :P Meef- its the thought that counts, right? right? ;) Moriah © Drew Berry/Palmer
- Wow- my scanner sure knows how to turn all my color jobs to barf. Finally dug this out- on it's way with an "art package" to Roz. The picture has it's flaws- but I think it's decent. And the color job looks MUCH better in RL. Pssst...I don't ski. Something about the idea of hurtling uncontrollably down a mountainside just doesn't do it for me. It *used* to be fun for Jack here. Characters © Roz Gibson
- Ick- like most of my mixed media pieces, the scanner ate this one. Oh well, I managed to scan this pic after I finally finished my first animated film. Now I am starting my second one. Do you know how hard it is to cast the perfect people to do the voices for your characters? Oh well, I've managed to talk a few people into it. Anywise, enjoy the image :) Looks like for this little doe, the tables have turned :)
- I think we have all walked the bloody warpath of our inner selves and our own self-destruction. I am there now. Ashryn © to Beth Schultz
- Holy Cat's Meow, Batman!!! I never knew that making a minor mistype at 5 am in the morning in your drawing description could make you the anti-Christ!! Oh, thank you to all the "kind" fanatics that emailed me with news of my sin and saved me from the fiery pits of hell!! Thank you for helping me to save my soul before it was too late!!!!! Silabub/Jemima © to ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER ( happy? ) and sarcasm © to me.
- A snow-shoe hare girl that I drew inbetween drawings in my Life Drawing class last semester. It kind of came out looking like something Miss Giles would do- so, me sorry ;_; *looks down a few recent uploads* CHESS!!! CHESS!!!
- What the hell- I was on a role... Whitepawz in her non-morphic form is © to Mayra Boyle, the same person she is copyright to in her morphic form...and her male form....and.....
