A character sketch of Akila Hunter, a siberian tiger poacher. A little old fashioned and growing old in years, but he's still got the fire burning in his heart to hunt Kilojara down mercilessly and get himself a new pair of boots.
Umm...yeah, what started as a little sketch of Ayshia, manifested itself into this. *sigh* Why am I more productive when I need to be doing something else?
A sketch of Ayshia from behind. I wanted to make some adjustments to her design. Plus, I was familiarizing myself with the tools and such in Photoshop. What? You think I've been using Photoshop all along? I wish...
CAN YOU SMELLLL WHAT THE BUZZ IS COOKIN'?!!! XP Heh...Sorry, I just had to. Superstar pro wrestler, Buzz Blitzkrieg, always had a passion for the culinary arts. After one too many piledrivers, Buzz decided to hang up the wrestling boots and pick up the spatula. His first few attempts, however, had little success.
Blimey, mate! It's Crikey the Croc! Heh, I couldn't think of a better name for him. At least it wasn't Steve or anything ;). Colored in CorelPhoto-Paint.
"What Nightmares Are Made Of". Evithos, God of Fear and Chaos, is formed from hundreds of death vipers acting as a single unit, giving him the ability to shapeshift and is virtuality indestructible. Sketch in Photoshop 7.0.
It feels like ages since I've last drawn a "regular" dragon. I don't know why I don't draw them more often, because I just love dragons to death. Anyway, this is Jara, a noble, born leader kind of dragon that also happens to be the "father" of Kilojara, which is a whole 'nother story. Just a little sketch colored in Photoshop.
A sketch of Jax Roseblade and his raptor pal, Chase, two drifters going where ever the wind takes them. I love how Chase came out. I might want to finish this one up a little more sometime, but I really don't have the time nowadays.
Girl's soccer season is in full stride and I just had to do a goalkeeper pic of Kilojara (That's my field position, if you didn't get that already). I've been experimenting with the CorelDRAW program that was just sitting on the harddrive collecting cyberdust. It was tedious a first, but I'm beginning to like vectors. I hope to put this on jersey one day...
The big ol' lizard is a softie when he's not eating peoples. It's kinda scary, but a nice change of pace. I'm on a ink drawing frenzy! If anyone's really that interested in a ink commission, stop by my homepage and follow the link. [/shameless plug]
Cornsnakes are like candy...you can never have just one! Kilojara enjoys the company of my two corns, celebrating the newest addition to the family, my little Lavender, Opal, whom I received as a gift from a customer that I did a logo for 2 years ago. So that's TWO cornsnakes I've gotten for my art (Ruby, the one on Kilo's head, was the first). *sigh* If only more people paid me in cornsnakes. XD
I finally finished serious piece and *gasp* it's even real media. And what's even scarier is that this has got to be the best thing I've cranked out in...ever! Go me! ^_^ This piece was inspired by a poem I wrote for English. The poem in this one is a compressed version, but it's just as good or so I think. (P.S. I would love to get some critique on this one, since I hope to make it a portfolio piece w/o the text, of course)
Another redesign a neglected character, Swordmaster Lahari Scythe. I needed to finalize her design before I started drawing her in the comic. Now she is more like a fish, which is the look she seemed to lack being an amphibious fishy creature...thing? I was afraid to color it, but the markers don't look all that bad actually.
A revamp of Lelondo the Omega. I usually don't like to put sketches here, but I've grown to like this one. (I probably could have shaded this, though :/)
