The first page of the cast to a comic strip of mine that has been neglected nearly to the point of abandonment. I wish that would change since I really love the characters (Why else would I be drawing them now?), but I've got plenty of other incomplete projects on my plate already. :/
More B&W art, since I really don't have the time to color it (Though my muse will tell you otherwise). Well, at least it's great practice for when I start on my B&W graphic novel. Anyway, this is a redesign of Rako. I don't have any character quite like him, which makes him all the more interesting to draw. I should draw dragons more often (Rako really isn't a dragon, but he looks enough like one). Now to go finish his brother...
Skorch the idiot dragon and Aratek the jinxed gryphon/griffin/whatever. I tried something new with this piece that I wanted to use on a commission: Inking a sketch in CorelDRAW, printing it out, and coloring with marker. I'm pleased with the results. (I really don't like inking by hand. I always manage to mess it up)
What started as a mindless doodle of a toony bull terrier became an entire page of this lil' guy. I ran home from school scan it in and color it. For now I'm calling him T.D., since that's what my brother decided to call him (According to him it's short for Target Dog). Now that I look at him, I see many influences from some of my favorite cartoons on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. I guess it can't be helped. I think he's got great potential so I think we'll see more of this lil' dude from me.
My Trading Post #18 entry. Teentiger and Podge swing through the forest on a snake mistaken for a vine after retrieving a valueable lost artifact. Done in Corel Photo-Paint9.
"I Must Be Dreaming." I'm anything but romantic when it comes to love, but this still gives me warm and fuzzies. Tragic hero, Tignar, falls for his long-time friend, Ayshia, who is understandably caught off guard.
I needed a more updated pic of Tignar (brother of Rako) to try and finalize his design, since he changes constantly, especially his tattoos/markings. I went back to using cel shading for this one, too.
Sliguana, Lil' Tommy, and the Dragoncycle. Since I struggle with all vehicles and mechnical things in general, I had to use lots of references. Luckily I had some magazines and toy motorcycles to look off of. Re-uploaded with some minor adjustments.
I don't care what the calender sez, it's WINTER! Just a little something the muse coughed up as I sat outside freezing my butt off at lunch (then CG'ed at home). Tommy Whiptail and friends fall victim to their parents' horrible winter fashion and color sense. (Poor Lil' Buff! He shall be cursed forever!!! *weeps*) Copyright stuff on the image.
Originally planned to be a cute T-shirt design for myself. My lil' lizard character (little more "chibi" than usual), Tommy Whiptail, dances with his pants. If you're wondering, "No tengo pantalones" is "I have no pants" in Spanish. Of the little Spanish I know, this has to be my favorite phrase.

iCan't...resist!!! I tried my hardest not to but it seems that I have only aluminum foil will. Dern bandwagons! I'm just the little lizard that couldn't.
While I liked Sliguana's monologue on the old first page, the faceless wandering coyote was pretty dull and Tommy didn't show up until the end of the first page when this whole comic is supposed to be about him (and Sliguana, but his name is second). So now it's all about Tommy on the first page, though the coyote still makes an appearance, but this time, he's symbolic. Ooooo, fear me!
90% of my daily sketches are...well, not very good. But every once and awhile, some really nice ones pop up that can't help but make me smile a little. These are a few sketches of various random characters over the past few weeks and the cause for my last upload. I discovered that there is such a thing as too much cartoons and cuteness.
Another small collection of some of my favorite daily sketches. There's a chameleon, a day gecko, a pitbull-ish dog, a shark, and my favoritest of favorites, the platypus. :)
