- It's BigBlueFox, about to enjoy a slice of the old hot & bubbly! Made extra-cheesy with Photoshop's Fill, Dodge, Burn, and cheesy Difference Clouds. Hold the lens flares. :)
- Here's a drawing for BigBlueFox, of his giant coyote, Snirf! He's a big coyote, 12 feet tall at the shoulder to be exact, so he needs a lot of room to run around. He's enjoying his romp! Brushpen on bristol, colored with Prisma pencils, color adjustments and filters in Photoshop.
- Be a-Wary of the Cassowary...
- There's a wonderfully animated feature-quality German film titled, I beleive, "Hugo the Generic Jungle Animal". I couldn't resist drawing this little anthro critter...with my own American twist. Yes, there are urban foxes in the film. This film is highly recommended viewing!
- Whew! Had a blast at AAC'98. Now I can catch up on my art pile. Here's a sneak preview of a new installment coming soon to my web page! Continuing the tradition of silly doodles, the piece of cheese and text was lovingly rendered by John Nunnemacher. Photoshop, Wacom tablet and pencil sketch.
- Carolyna Cougar's been hit with a Hyena-izer. Chow down!
- Something I just finished for a cheerleading site. Their team is called the Cougars. How could I refuse? :) Now, where did I save that e-mail address so I can tell the guy it's done. Ahh, the joys of MOVING. Brushpen and Pshop.
- Working late on my film, still. There were camera angle problems, so I'm reboarding a few scenes. I should be putting the whole story on my webpage soon.
- Seems like the thing to do these days is design a character for use in the popular PC game, 'Quake'. Here's the one I'd like to play...if I was into that violent sort of thing.
- Roz Gibson, Freida, Carolyna Cougar, Lex and Brian Reynolds on their evening constitutional
- Here's an happy eagle! Brushpen. I dunno, looks like I'm being inspired by Vicky Wyman again. Looks more like a hawk with the light body structure. If I did it over again I'd build her heavier/bulkier.
- I saw this neat 'modern' opera in Los Angeles back in December. It was based on "Fantastic Mr. Fox" by Roald Dahl. Maybe opera's not my bag...it was...interesting, yeah, that's it. But I'm really glad I got to see it, and I enjoyed it.
- Behold, the Biter of Fear.
- My fancy new computer at work
- I'm working late tonight. :P
- Grr. But cuddly. :)
- Here's some artwork I designed to be used as a 'skin' for a music playing program for windows called WinAmp. Designing a WimAmp skin isn't as easy as it seems! All that cutting and pasting into tiny masks and windows...Oi! Well anyway, lookit the purty pitchur. I hope to have the whole skin finished some day.
- I was watching this neato documentary on Animal Planet about this dog that rescues stray cats. You would NEVER have thought that the offspring of a Husky and a Schnauzer would be anything to look at, right? Well, this dog was amazing looking, incredibly striking! I just had to draw her. And that wirehaired mane...neat-o!
- Hooray, Yerf is fully functional once again! This is an anthro version of my Pomeranian, Wolfy. She thinks she's ultra-fly in her bell bottoms. Not much, but I'm just so glad that Yerf's back up again I have to upload SOMETHING. Yay! Toned in Photoshop.
- Here's my half of an art trade with Chris Farrington. It's my spin on his character, Jenna the Grape! Photoshop.
- Here's a picture that my sweetheart drew for me. He's showing off his rustic side in his flannels as he holds my dog. I colored it in Photoshop (makes me want to go and recolor all my old stuff over again!)and submit it to you, with his permission. This character is c. Brian Reynolds.
- The poor lion...he tries to help but he doesn't know what to do. All he can do is offer a shoulder. Funny how the fur traps the tears, keeps them from falling to the ground. Thanks Brian. Love ya. Brushpen and Pshop coloring.
- An example of my 'ultra-cute' style I enjoy doing occasionally.
- "So...when you're, like, King and all that, you'll be sure and save a few of those lionesses for your pal Nuka, won't you, old buddy old pal?" Having not seen the film yet, but TODAY'S THE DAY!!! Tonight's the night! Anyway, here's Nuka and Kovu expressing their feelings for one another. Again, I haven't seen the film, so I don't know what their relationship is to each other, so...here's a guess! Pencil colored in Pshop.
- It's Razberri! My half of an art trade with Erin Vernon. I like her happy coloring jobs. :) Razberri is her character.
- This is a commission I just finished for Big Blue Fox; it's BBF's giant zoomorphic pet coyote, Snirf, being his typical hungry self.
- Summer's over, but I'm already looking forward to snorkeling again soon! This is a small section of a color one-page comic I'm trying to finish in time for the next issue of Huzzah. From a montage scene of me enjoying the beach when growing up. The orange fish is the state of California's state fish, a Garibaldi. Photoshop. Young Carolyna Cougar c. me.
- Another commission from Big Blue Fox; Big Blue Fox is being taught a playful lesson by his giant pet coyote, Snirf. I think BBF will make sure not to forget to buy dog biscuits when he goes to the market next time! Brushpen and Prismacolor pencil on bristol.
- It's Big Blue Fox's giant pet coyote, Snirf! Sometimes, when he is well fed, he will show off his snuggly side. Prismacolor pencils. Snirf is owned by and copyright BigBlueFox.
- Come on, vogue...:)
