Here's a piece colored with only watercolor markers, which is what I used to always use. I used Schwan-Stabilo markers, which are pretty good, being more long-lasting than regular markers and offering an excellent range of colors. I had some concerns about how long they were colorfast, though, especially in the yellow range. Now I really only use them to do color roughs.
