Thingy for Amoux. Happy birthday, dearest! :D
Another old one, 2002 this time. This was for a kid in my dorm last year; I haven't talked to him since last November. But a bunch of us used to get together in his room and watch "Taken" on SciFi every night for a while, so he was cool. Heh.
It's Basalt!
Ha! Look, I'm all squinty-eyed. Me at my friend-and-soon-to-be-roomie Steve's place. Some guy came in to work last week and asked if that was my real hair. Mmyep. I like cereal.
Lord I'sthhkyz, the Majestic Necromancer Rooster-Gryph, surveys his acres of pastry shops with a calm and discerning eye. (Nibs are f-u-n to ink with! Thanks to Scott Ruggels an Pat Kelley for the recent tips on the newsgroup.)
A random cacomistle screams something at someone. (.......) Kindly disregard the mutilated railing.
Maui, being her charming self. You know she loves you all, really.
A cute little armadillo that was NOT inspired by a recent animated film sneaks across the screen.
Experimentation with pastels, Q-Tips, and sketchy outlines. Based on a real-life story. Moral: Sometimes relationships suck.
Older one, kinda bad scan, really bad anatomy, but apathy reigns. Yay!
"Folsom"
Maui as some sort of quasi-abstract fertility fetish thing.
First self-portrait I've done in a while. Done to complement a new LJ color scheme; does so quite admirably. :) Also, I am taking commissions! Details can be found (http://www.livejournal.com/users/sylvanmarten/126090.html#cutid1) there. :)
My entry in this week's Y.Binaries Trading Post. Sadie's Terzy's, art's mine. :)
Playing. Nothing special.
Jenaii the kitsune fennec of FurryMUCK, by request. Prismacolor pencils on smooth bristol paper.
A matronly badger lady
Older thing, from 2001, if my directory of art crap doesn't lie. A friend's character. Mmyep. I like it.
Badge commission done for Tevildo, of Camisolm, at Further Confusion. Trias and Tombow brushpen on bristol.

Wednesday morning in my environmental science class we had a guest lecturer. She works at a raptor rehabilitation place here, and she brought some live birds with her to the lecture. This was done in a couple of hours, after a frenzy of inspiration hit me. My best picture of Maui to date, and that hawk's not bad, either.
oCeLoT as a pine marten. :)
Peach!?
Another avatar of mine, a gryphon/phoenix crossbreed named Peyote. Ink and gouache on sketch paper.
As per Amara Telgemeier's calculation, here is 1 (one) semi-coherent scribble of Rook being all happy for the cameras. Smile, Rook!
As is evidenced by the little piece of "art" over there, Maui's gone through pretty much a complete design overhaul. I've been knocking the idea of making her more marten-like around in my head for some time now, and at this point in time it seemed appropriate. I like her design better this way. I got -really- tired of all that blue. Oh, yes, and her left arm's about half as long as it should be. Silly me.
Sanders, being all loungy-like against a bright yellow background.
For the binaries ..thingy.. Spades and Krandy.. Thingy. Savvy?
Until my scanner is back up, this is the kind of tripe you will all get. Muahaha. Or something. Wolphyn and Badger are a little confused - they think mushrooms taste bad. This little guy begs to differ. You can practically hear him saying, "Eat me!"
Not Good Enough? I just don't care.
