A work in progress. I attempted to salvage the left leg a bit, as the knee was a little too high, but meh, Photodeluxe and I, we are fair weather friends. Yet Another Raccoon Character, this is Angeli, a sweet fellow, if you can get him to sit still a moment (his bartender job keeps him Very Busy). All his regular patrons and friends call him by his nickname: Peanutbutter Angeli, but I think they're all nuts. maybe I should have saved this file as a Jif. >:D
The title of this silly attempt at collage is : "Don't Ever Let Vinci + Wallet Combo In A Scrapbook Store Unattended", but it's really just Custard, made up of bits and pieces (and entirely too much glitter, but I was having a ball), wishing for wings again. Just in time for the holidays, and please at least be assured that *most* of the glitter did not scan. :>
I lost my father on my birthday this year. It's still hard to comprehend, so I tried my hand at this image. Artisan Sunspot from the Guardians stories contemplates the death of his father through prayer. I am not Christian, nor very religious, to be honest. And yeah, there was a lot of "rebuilding" in there in Photodeluxe. I hate whiteout.
This was an experiment to see if I could utilize opposite colors to make the garish backgrounds work. As you can see, I need to experiment more, but I do like how the personalities of the characters came out. If you're wondering why Vinci's side is 'floodfilled', it's cause the original colors were eating the little guy up, but you can see the original version in my directory on YNA. Artisan and Vinci are the creations of Ryan Dewalt.
"When raccoons hit your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amor-HEY!!" Early V-day pic for my better half. It feels so weird that 2004 is here, coz' June 25th is the big day! AUUUGH!! :) (hope this is ok for Yerf, if not I apologize!)
Corny though the saying may be, there are indeed those few sparkles in your life who end up making an incredible impact with their friendship alone. Col-erase pencils on colored paper, was fun to do! This was actually posted on V&A, and the mysterious fuzzy with Arty caused a bit of confusion. I can't say his name or whether he's from Arty's past or future (uh oh! DRAMA!), but I will say that he (yes, he, trust me on this!) is a gryphon.. thing.
"Oh, take a hike!" Arty and Vinci, who, if they are anything like Tet and myself, are likely off to the great outdoors for some geocaching. But knowing the Terrible Two, they most likely are just invading Wegman's. As usual, col-erase, and attempting to practice more. :)
The Terrible Two, just lookin' towards whatever's on the horizon for them. :).. The scanner ate a lotta detail, but that's what scanners like to do. Ah, June, hurry your summery little butt along.. :)
I've now discovered precisely how frikkin' TIRING it is to help run an art archive. A chibi version of Vinci, and an experimental foray into computer coloring. It's fun, but I'd rather practice more with the more traditional media. :>
Dopiest Vinci EVAR. I didn't mean for it to come out like this. I swear. But eventually I just gave in and went for full throttle flowery. Markers, scrapbook paper.
Dear God, it's Vinci in a tutu. Actually, Mr. Nicolaides is showing miss Vicki Fox some traditional modern Greek folk costumes. Vicki Fox belongs to Mike Russell, the big-eared raccoon belongs to Ryan Dewalt and I.
Tet has a knack for phototgraphy. As demonstrated, he can make artsy shots of even the dorkiest subject matter. Anywho, this would be me, I guess.. with photo credits going to the most goofy Ryan Dewalt.
Arty all decked out in a Japanese wedding outfit, just for the heck of it. But, I'm sure he wouldn't mind getting hitched.. he loves any party he's the center of. The tailfan was an adlib on my part, but otherwise I did a little research and tried to stay true to the outfit.. though I went a little crazy on the gelpen. Sorry. They were shinee. x.x
