Speaking of belated pics, Catnel did a very poignant drawing last October about feeling trapped. I wanted to do one in reply, but I was up to my ears in commissions, and once I'd gotten them out of the way, I couldn't find the pencil outline. Well, I found it a few days ago, and here it is, all complete. The Raccoon Kids bust Catnel out! (The Confident One seems a little too far into it. He's got a sawed-off super soaker, and he's NOT afraid to use it!)

When Ocicat first made mention of the fact that I appeared in the new movie "Recticle", I had no idea what he was talking about. Then I remembered. Sheesh, no wonder I forgot.. it was such a little part! I was really only supposed to be a tech advisor but I ended up on screen for half a minute. (A "terrorist-without-demands" is beamjacking a comsat. Nasty.) I still don't know I qualified for co-star status, though. With 30 seconds of screen time??

Actually I wasn't really chagrined at B-Artisan's sudden participation in the opera, just a little anguished at the decibel level. :) But when Capellans participate, they don't do it halfway. Which, to me, is wonderful. My own personal feeling is, give B-Artisan the mike and let him give the crowd one of the songs of his own people! You won't understand the words, but Capellan music is quite unique. (Don't be surprised if he delights the crowd!) B-Artisan is © Barclay Johnson
