Logo I'm working on for a local pet hotel. It still needs the text to placed on the footboard, but I can't figure out how to make it follow a curved path (using GIMP). :P
Satyrs live a long time and Pumice is no exception. He is now very old, and all the friends and enemies of his youth are long gone, but still he often takes time to reflect on all the memories, both good and bad. Done in pencil and ink.
Quagga/Fjordhorse cross anthro uni in color, and my first time using Prismacolor markers. (Sorry there is a line across the blue area, but it was scanned in two pieces.) :P And again, the unedited version of this pic is being offered for sale via my LJ, if anyone is interested. :)
A Norwegian Fjordhorse/quagga hybrid, because I've always adored both and wanted to see what a combo of the two would look like in anthro uni form. :) This pic was done as a quick experimental piece to try out my new Prisma markers on (so please excuse any anatomical errors). I just wanted to scan and preserve the lineart in advance because I'll probably ruin it during the coloring process. :P (The unedited colored version will be offered for sale when finished.)
Concept design for my hubby's fursuit, of his "panduck" char (mandarin duck/red panda gryphon). I noticed after scanning that I spelled "suede" wrong, plus I goofed up on making the legs digitigrade, since I found out afterwards that red pandas have plantigrade legs (the ref photos I was using didn't really show the hindlegs well). :P But that will at least save us some time and money on the suit. :)
Blame it on my hubby. :) He really wanted me to draw his char for this iPod thingy, and so I joined the bandwagon...And he really IS silly; he always makes me laugh--plus he REALLY loves his fish! :D (I know my pic doesn't look as good as the others here, but I don't have any fancy drawing program or a tablet; this was done on the mouse.)
This is my half of an art trade with Tiger's Kitten, whose very unique char is (obviously) an anthro tiger/dolphin/dragon. Needs a background, but I stink at backgrounds (if you haven't already noticed), and I don't like how stiff the pose came out, but I do like the colors. Done in markers and ink and shaded with colored pencils.
Old self portrait--plus a couple of alter egos--done in charcoal. You might notice the 'TB' logo here (as well as on some of my other pics), which stands for 'Tiffany Barfield'; that was my pre-baptismal and maiden name.
Valentine's Day pic for my handsome mate, Sayh, an anthro osprey. (I'm normally in non-anthro form, but sometimes I'm anthro just for him.) :) Done in colored pencils and ink.
Three tundra swans (actually angels in swan disguise) sing their "swansong" and prepare to depart this world under a winter eclipse. Done as a textured "paper mosaic", made with many tiny bits of ripped-up paper glued to a background and shaded over with colored pencils. The "ice" effect is simply glued-down toilet paper. :)
Art trade with Teknikat...Since she didn't have an official char ref sheet, I just based her body off a cheetah, head off a caracal, with elongated legs, neck and tail, then added albatross wings, since I felt they fit best with her body type. And the pose is from my dreams, because whenever I fly in dreams, I always leap into flight from the edge of a high cliff. To learn more about the world of teknikats, go here: http://tryne.lmfao.org.uk/Main.htm :)
Herne, the antlered celtic deity, holding his enchanted staff, surrounded by his wolves, with his dragon on his shoulder, his hunting horn and lyre hung by his side and snow-covered Stonehenge in the background. Done in pencil.
Another ranch gate commission, to be laser-cut out of steel and mounted on a frame. (This design, tho simple, was HUGE; I had to piece together 6 scans, so I'm sorry it came out a tad bit crooked.) :P
Hoarfrost, a unicorn character from a book I've been planning to write. (I apologize for the line across the middle; I had to scan it in two parts, and it didn't smooth well.) Done in pencil on textured paper.
