- My obsession with heraldry strikes again! :D Sign for our door at Anthrocon (inspired by the one Neogeen did), showing the room's occupants--and their respective paw/footprints: Diadexxus (the winged white tigress), my hubby Sayh (a "panduck": mandarin duck/red panda gryphon), and myself (a mute swan/saluki sighthound gryphon). I may color this; haven't decided yet. :)
- Part of a logo for an exotic livestock ranch.
- Part of a logo for an exotic livestock ranch.
- My interpretation of the End of the World. Done in oil pastels on black paper.
- Just a pretty arabian mare wading through a shallow pond on a breezy day. Done in pencil on linen-textured paper.
- This is an unfinished commission of Ard (aka Ardennais), whom I lost touch with, so it may never be completed...It still needs a background. Done in ink, with an "old photo" filter applied.
- Demo design for a ranch gate, to be laser-cut out of steel and mounted on a log frame.
- Anthrocon commission for Camstone and MooiVos'. :)
- (Felt tip fun!) *gryns* I'm so evil...but Gray loves me anyway! ;D *slurps her wuffsis* (And notice that my claws are crossed!) :D
- "Dreaming of Mice and Men"...A she-werecat morphing. Pic made on scratchboard with a silver backing.
- Inked commission; my first time at drawing a halfway-decent anthro wolf or Irish elk (thus I'm painfully aware of all the anatomical and perspective errors). Now I just have to color it! (Chars: GrayWolf, Celtic Man, Duncan the ferret and Newgrange in the background.) :)
- Commission for GrayWolf, now in color (see earlier b/w ink version for further info)...I made the knotwork and Newgrange spirals orange/green to symbolize the colors of the Irish flag, and the kilt in the colors of Celtic Man's family tartan (or as close as I could approximate it, anyway). The flowers are also symbolic of the chars. :) (BTW, I know the sky is a little messed up; I had to scan in two pieces. :P)
- A celestial cockatrice (aka basilisk), done in crayons. This pic was inspired by the cockatrice in "The Book of the Dun Cow" by Walter Wangerin, one of my all-time favorite furry books. If you're into animal fables and haven't read this classic yet, DO SO!!! :)
- A suprise gift for my multi-winged sis, Aisling. :) Drawing four wings and having them look halfway believable sure ain't easy! O.o And my wings look all funny and small due to the foreshortening--bah. :P
- Inked commission for C Eagle. (I can't do toonish stuff very well, which is why I rarely do.)
- (In memory of my dear little Cameron, who modeled for this when he was 6 months old.) Arikla bought an old (from '91?) sketch from me, and so I colored it...I apologize in advance to anyone who suffers an acute diabetic attack due to saccharine overdose because of this image. It was not intentional...well, sorta. ;)
- C Eagle's commission, now in color. Happy Hatchday, Igglebro! :D
- Little canine module thingy...'tis another logo, very simply drawn in order to be shrunk way down and still recognizeable.
- Doodles: my take on a "Puffinhound" (aka "Lundehund"--I've always wanted one), and also a "Pandalion", because dandelions made me think of it. Maybe he eats dandelions? :)
- Commission for Xaxoqual, a mourning dove, pictured here cuddling his ringtail mate, Loiosh. Done in colored pencils and ink. (I was told my colors look sorta washed-out, so I tried coloring much darker this time.)
- Older pic: A depressed dragon done in fabric crayons for a t-shirt design.
- Commission WIP for Warphammer (inked version) of his broadwing hawk char and his Chinese dragon zodiac sign/totem animal in a psuedo (egg-shaped) yin-yang pose...Just ignore the simplistic background, since the current lack of details there will be taken care of with vivid sunset hues and deep shadows. :)
- Birthday pic for my soulsis, Dragonstarr.
- An illustrated verse from the old song "Ventura Highway" by America, because it made me imagine several maned dragons encircling the sun, with the wind in their hair, and the seasons changing around them. So I drew all my maned dragon friends from Livejournal, clockwise from top right: Maly, Fireeyes, Kategod, Etherrawen, Eblaro, and Dragonstarr. :)
- (Re-uploaded because I like this sepia version better; will delete the other one.) Logo design for a Swiss organization, in which the unicorn (aka einhorn) is shaped as the letter "E".
- "Ghost Patriarch"...someone you DON'T want to meet at an African watering hole in the middle of the night. Done in ink.
- Commission-in-progress for Faithry; it still needs coloring (will reupload when finished). This pic has elements of both Art Nouveau and the Pre-Raphaelites, both of which I adore. Faithry is wingless, rich, vain, haughty, beautiful, graceful, elegant and a tad bit cruel, as is evidenced from her ermine/pearl-lined gown and birdwing fan. :)
- Faithry's commission revisited, this time in color...
- Part of a logo for an exotic livestock ranch.
- This cute little guy is part fairy, part unicorn, and part dragon, thus his name: "Fayunidrac". :) Done in pencil and ink.
