Katarina, a request pic. I think the top half looks good, but of course I messed up the pants 'coz they're black. I want to get some gray pencils,'coz somebody told me it's better to color in gray first, and it won't turn so dark, which makes sense, but I don't have any gray pencils right now.

Another pic from the project..it was a paper/visual display about anthropomorphism, its past uses, its present uses, how it has changed, blah blah. Fitting, huh? Anyway, I drew about six of my characters on this big poster, but only three of them were worth scanning. Here's Kaela. Isn't she ky00te? Her face didn't turn out well, but the dress is nice. IMO.

A friend of mine introduced me to the world of "Elfquest" by Wendy and Richard Pini. I'm hooked. I like it almost better than the "Redwall" books. About the same, I suppose. She's given me something new to obsess over! Anyway, she's been lending me all the books and comics and whatnot, and I just finished the "Wavedancers" mini series recently. I felt inspired. This is Linnalee, a happy merfox, since I figured an elfin mermaid just wouldn't fit 'yerf' guidelines. ;)

I had a terrible time with this pic...it looks millions of times better in real life, because I had to make it way smaller to keep it under 500K....Anyway, I realize the lighting is a bit wrong, but other than that, I'm happy with it. (For now!) It's another vixen character, whose name I believe shall be Cecily, with a bunch of never-before-seen characters whose names I haven't made up yet!

One of my good friends' birthdays is coming up (altho' she celebrated it last weekend). Anyway, her character's name is Mirage, and I thought I'd draw this neato scene in like a "Secret Garden" type thing. Unfortunately, I can't draw trees. I have been officially diagnosed with "tree drawing deficiency syndrome", better known as TDDS. (Uh, that was a joke, sort of.) Anyone have suggestions? I tried to use a picture, but as you can see, it didn't help much. I wanna colour this and fix it up before her actual birthday, so if anyone has any pointers, let me know...

Hey, I'm back! After an exhausting stretch of work, work, and more work, I have a break. I'm still not accepting requests at the moment, 'coz my art is suffering and my style of drawing characters needs to be reinvented, but I'll be doing them again soon. This is just a sketch of Flame I did back in March, probably. Amazingly, I still like it, but I'm still tweaking with my character designs.

Nyulo of Redwall muck, as requested. This one looks so much better on paper, I think my coloring is better now that I got this nifty blender pencil thing and it actually works a bit..at least, it eliminates those pesky white dots I get 'coz the paper I've been using is a bit too rough.

I originally did this pic as a practice type thing. I'm trying to work on making up more original poses, so my chars aren't all just standing stick straight doing absolutely nothing. Pleh. Well, I like the way it came out coloured, I drew this a month or so ago, so I'm sort of sick of the pic itself, but I like the way I coloured it. I'm working on making my colouring more realistic.

Remember that Christmas-y pic I uploaded awhile back? Well, I finally got around to uploading the coloured version. I'm really happy with how it turned out.. I think it's probably my best coloured pic to date. The headfur almost looks halfway realistic! ;)

Raven, another furry artist requested this pic. I WAS going to use coloured pencils to colour it, but the last two requests had to be done largely in black, and they both came out looking less-than-desirable. So I dug out this little set of eight or so Prisma markers I bought on a whim, and practiced with it, and really liked how it looked. I really like how this one came out, even though I couldn't draw the rest of the poor gal's body 'coz I couldn't figure out how to do the legs. Comments? You like my markers?

Raye'chelle is a ringtailed lemur gal who asked me to do a pic for her. I gladly agreed, and ended up drawing this. Rachel, (her player) noted in her email that Raye'chelle is a 'regular fur' which basically means she doesn't wear clothes, so no, this isn't porno or anything. She's just not as 'morphic as most of the stuff I draw. Well, anyway, I'm sure you knew that already, but I thought I'd clarify. :)
