- Today is APRIL 3rd, and y'all know what that means! Here's wishing a very happy birthday to PacRat (looking way way too cute here), who gets massive "mad props" and all because she's got the same birthday as moi :) That and she's a great artist... PacRat © Jen Rodriguez, me © me! (that thing passing for a cake there is just a big ol' bowl of Cadbury's Mini-Eggs, the very best thing about easter. Yum!)
- One day I'm sitting around wondering what to draw and I come across some of those Dove Promises chocolates, which have cheery little springtimey messages on the wrappers. So I thinks"Hmm, I could make adorable little cartoons out of the cheery little springtimey messages..."
- The family Ptiliidae comprises several genera of ridiculously small, feather-winged beetles. There is a physics joke in the picture too.
- ...but alas, their love could never be, for she was a high-born lady and he was only a lowly pumpkin-seller. Geez, I dunno...it's a pumpkin guy.
- V-Day pic #2: Errin the weasel and her large-but-clueless boytoy, Quill. (Both of whom appear in TO:WoR!) My,don't they look happy? Quill 'n' Errin © me...
- Quill and Errin again
- There seems to be an epidemic of kiltishness going around...eeexcellent. This here's Quinn McKinnickinnick, a Scottish marten type (whom those of you with no life may recognize from TO:WoR) Look! He's got a big hairy sporran and an exposed haggis!
- A tiger quoll (Daysurus maculatus) in a pretty evening dress. Brush-inked!
- A cat-type creature what I drew in one of my older sketchbooks. Also quite possibly the most disturbing thing I have ever drawn: Professor Rach...as a hamster. I don't know why. (the deformed Pro. Rach is ©me)
- A marteny-foxy guy in a made-up WWII uniform, standing in a blitzed city. (Yes, I *did* see "Private Ryan", but this prob'ly has more to do with the research I'm doing on WWII London.)...a li'l doodly test of my new brush.
- A nice late request pic; three furs of indiscriminate species (the one on the left might be a numbat) .. I didn't do much interesting with the poses, so I over-compensated with watercolors. Whee ha! All are © their players.
- Kissing mousies! Kissing mousies! As requested by Rainya (of some MUCK or other) She and her significant other Martin of Wales are © their respective players...
- Semi-commission for Ralph the Righteous, © Alan Fark. I'm re-posting this as my browser quit out on me before I got to do a rebuild. Lousy Macs :P
- A random warrior mouse
- More art from the summer. This time: a Crisis in Outer Space, from the Really Amazing Super-Team comic, starring the lovable Mercator (a fox) and the oft-recycled Bijou (a mouse). On a spaceship. (whatever)
- An oldish (spring '98) Really Amazing Super-Team picture; here we see the Team during their formative years in the NASA labs, being raised for a life of space exploration...Never made it into the comic book, owing largely to the comic book's nonexistence. RAST © me.
- A watercolory watercolor painting of Raven and Coyote, some mythical anthro-ish guys of Native American folklore. I rather likes the colors here.
- Some good beasts lazing about on a beautiful day at Redwall
- Here, one more little RW-mousy-thingy before I go elsewhere for a bit. Sue, you should recognize the building in the background. :) (big HOWDY to Sue and ever'body else with whom I have been failing to communicate) [d'oh: ALSO: webpage update, big time.]
- Another sketch from England- it was very very rainy the entire week we were there...Just some li'l anonymous mousegal with a brolly. I would also like to take this opportunity to give a big squishy THANKS MUCHLY to all you nice folks who sent me birthday greetin's. Thanks :)
- I haven't done much Redwall art lately, so here's the ferret pirate Romsca, cap'n of the "Waveworm" and an all-'round nice gal. I'm not sure why I like this picture, but I do. Romsca probably © Brian Jacques.
- A nice late request pic for one Ms. Romsca Slashback, who is © her player. I like her boots. (compliments of my lovely new dip pens... :)
- Rose For Rosemarie
- Old request pic of Martin and Rose..watercolors that turned out so icky in color that I converted it to grayscale. M&R © BJ. :)
- Sketches of Rosemarie's MUCK character, Rose
- Lord knows I've drawn my share of Redwall Abbeymice, and Blumrich beat me to the Leibowitz mouse. Here, then, are some monastic mice brought to you by The Name of the Rose, a splendid book by Umberto Eco. Go read it now. This means you.
- Request pic for Tarquin- I'll probably follow this up with a colored, cleaner version; I also think I forgot a weapon in there somewhere. Anyhows, this is my third take on this particular pic so it'll have to do for now. Presumably, everyone herein is © herself.
- Hiya Taan & Bry! Hmm. I saw the "Sailor Redwall" pic and couldn't help but wonder what exactly her special power is... (Sailor RW © Emily Stoll, right?)
- And here's part Two...
- And now, a massive CONGRATULATIONS to Andrew Garret, whose Sarah-ferret may well be a star ;) Here she is in all her splendor and © Monsieur Garret. (Good luck with Project _Outstanding_!)
