- For nightsky bluewyrm, done while at anthrocon 2003!
- i've been on a fox-drawing binge lately...
- Fox! Acrylics, housepaint, watercolors, & ballpoint pen.
- FURRY FREAKSHOW
- A commission of a great blue heron. Charcoal, watercolors, acrylics. ©Allison Reed/javachickn 2003.
- Random griffon. Part of a larger piece in my sketchbook; The rest of it didn't quite work... ballpoint pen, markers and watercolor crayon...
- halebop
- drawn in devin's sketchbook.
- something spontaneous that i drew; i never really have any idea what's going to be on the paper in the end. Everchanging; evolving... watercolors, ballpoint pen, colored pencil. © Allison Reed 1917.
- Drew this in charcoal at sierra's house... Colored it when I got home, under the light of a red lightbulb... I found out that I colored it all green and yellow when I replaced the red lightbulb with the regular one, so I fixed it with acrylic paint... Charcoal, watercolors, markers, ballpoint pen, carbon transfer paper, matte medium, acrylics... © Allison Reed 2002.
- More school influenced work; i draw while being lectured and jot down notes in my sketchbook. This piece started out as a scribbled-out-sketch of sarain, sitting, because i was frusterated. Next day: i decided it wasn't so bad, so i doodled on the paper, wrote a few things, and today i finished it up. ballpoint pen & photoshop.
- I drew this yesterday, and then promptly screwed it up with watercolors... I came back to it today and fixed it up, and i'm really liking how it turned out...triangles are fun to draw ... ©Allison Reed 2003.
- Commission. Ballpoint pen, watercolor, marker, colored pencil. City & Marker © their creators...
- Inspired by some of T's work, and a long day, and I like suits. watercolors.
- This piece started out as an ugly doodle in my sketchbook, done by using a feather and red acrylic paint. I fingerpainted over that and then touched it up with colored pencils, and then painted more with acrylics over that.
- This started out as an awful mess of sharpie doodles I did at Bummerfest, but then I added a few layers while painting, and I -really- adore what it turned into. I'm hoping to frame and sell this one locally. sharpie, gesso, acrylics, watercolor, colored pencil, ballpoint pen. © Allison Reed 2002
- Sitting in bed, drawing until 3:30 at night; hear a chick getting killed, sit in bed, hear another get killed; run outside with the dog and a flashlight and find two decapitated young birds in the coop; blood and feathers. I never finished the inking of this because I didn't know where to take it, and I wanted to color it. I took it over to sierra's house today and colored it there in her new kickass studio in the back of her garage and I like her butterfly stamp. Ballpoint pen, marker, watercolors, gouache, butterfly stamp... yeah.....
- For Jack (of the vcl), as she meets parker....... i really like how this turned out.... Watercolors, markers, colored pencils, ballpoints, and a brush pen.
- A piece I did to put in a "young artists" art show up here, in humboldt county. I like drawing great blue herons. Please forgive the horrid lopsidedness of this photograph; it's the most detailed one that came out of the batch of photos I took of it -- it was too big for the scanner... Acrylics, woodglue, {and a piece of a page of a chinese calandar, and a scrap of newspaper with a chicken on it} on maisonite...
- I doodled this up at the modest mouse show I went to, the other night, in arcata. It was great. Finished it up in french and english class today, and then scanned it in at home and colored it. The water proved to be...interesting... to try and color, and the perspective is somewhat skewed, but in general I like this. Ballpoint pen & photoshop.
- For Tun from VCL, because I didn't really like the last picture I drew for her... Pencil/silver sketch on a piece of paper covered with gesso; colored with photoshop. "Scabies" © Tun.
- © allison reed 2002.
- This is the inside cover of my 11th sketchbook; my current sketchbook. My character, Kevin S. and a bunch of abstract... stuff. Ballpoint pen & acrylic paint.
- When I was drawing this, I was thinking about life and death, and the phrase "what if this was the last thing I will ever draw" kept going through my head... © Allison Reed 2002.
- ahhhhh, this doesn't make sense. miriam © allisonreed; jiggery © emily delisle; my half of an art trade. Photoshop painted ontop of watercolors -- an experiment that worked. i need to learn to shadow properly. x_x
- For NeoGeen of the vcl. watercolor/ballpoint pen.
- I drew this in class yesterday while thinking about the two theaters, here in Arcata.... And I still like suits.
- Christmas present for a friend of mine; she told me she wanted me to draw a picture of a skinhead for her.. Acrylics & ballpoint pen.
- This is on the inside cover of my new sketchbook; my thirteenth sketchbook. Sarain and Raghad. Ballpoint pen, watercolors, acrylic.
- After reading a couple of critiques of my work on the VCL forum, and looking at sierra's sketchbook, I drew this... I think the arms are off, but i like it anyways. I love stretching. Ballpoint pen & photoshop.
