- Not sure where this sketch came from, but there is no love for fruit flies.
- Commissioned by Ketrava as a gift for Arphalia. Done in Photoshop. I will be accepting a few more commissions, if interested visit my site.
- Niki Foley's Basalt doing laundry. I can just smell the fabric softner.
- Bats being her usual self. I'm not sure why I like this one so much, her anatomy is kinda wonky. I had fun coloring this with good ol' colored pencils though.
- Procrastination doodle from a while back. Just seeing what effect I could get in photoshop. Blinded Angel as a statement of light...I suppose ;)
- From up on your perch you watch them come and go. And they are oblivious to your watchful eye. ---quick acrylic (all I have time for before I pack up and go home for the summer).
- An illustration for an action, in this case "catch". Marker and colored pencil.
- Colored sketch I drew a while back. Inspired by the fantastic art of the Bamana (specifically the Chi Wara society mask), and the colorful costumes of a neighboring African tribe, the Dogon. Yes, evil of me to mix and match, but at least I know where they came from, and I did it for no other purpose than to just have fun with Non-Western Art History. hehee.
- thatsright.
- I don't drink coffee products.
- Inspired by DareDevil, Dawn decides to become DareAngel! Sporting an...erm...interesting "costume" she patrols the city from the rooftops using her..."above average" hearing and sense of smell to let her know when...the icecream truck just pulled down the street. (Lets just hope Pookles stops her before she falls of the roof)
- I always picture myself sitting up on places where people can't easily or safely go. I wonder what it would be like to sit up there and hear the cars pass by....Oh, and since I don't have a job still I'm definantly going to be taking some commissions email me if you're interested.
- Scrunched this in after 3 finals today. Now to study for the other 2 :) It's a doggy reading the paper. I think I'm starting to color in photoshop more like I paint...which I think is a good thing...right?
- Ellodie for the Trading Post. (I got tired of watching paint dry).
- These two would rather not be compared to the tortoise and the hare. They perfer to take strolls together :) The file name was the nickname for my old bunny. She was a sweety.
- Mean ol' Basalt, bragging about her big ears. She gets all the guys. *sniffle*. (Okay, maybe this was just an excuse to draw Basalt....)
- Fennics always get the guys. I think it's the huge ears and big eyes.
- Who wants to give Mr. Floofybunbun a petty-poo? Sheesh! You'll all get a turn, calm down!
- Ralph didn't know he was a flying reindeer until later in life.
- Painting commissioned by Susan Lockwood (Tabris) of her character Gren. My only real regret is that I didn't try hard enough to show off his interesting back-markings. Oil paint on 8x10" canvas panel.
- I thought my first "real" upload should be a group shot of my characters (most, anyway) done in a strange toony style. Left to right: Bats, Honey Churry, Muna, Dawn the Blinded Angel, Pookles (the dog), Jinge, Ealisa, and Novalee (who is about to fall over, oops!).
- Acrylic on canvas. Guess what Pepper's favorite word is. :P
- Honey Churry going for a stroll. I've been doing a lot of cross hatching in class lately, and wanted to see the effects in photoshop. This was the only (remotely) productive thing I did today, oi!
- Honey Churry walking along a lake shore looking for something to draw. Done in colored pencils. A bit older than my other submitted work, early summer 2001.
- Honey Churry collecting dandelions. I'm using it for a new layout for my site...when I get that finished.
- Bad week. (re-upload because I could spend slightly more than 10 mins on it this time)
- Jeremiah. I didn't like the coloring I did for this, so I went back to the pencil.
- A photograph-style pose of Jinge while vacationing along the northeast coast. The background lighthouse reference was from a picture I took while in Maine or Mass. (somewhere up there) several years ago when with my family. This was painted with acrylic on textured paper.
- One of those mornings where you're not quite awake yet. But Jinge likes gazing off into dream land, so it is all good. Pencil doodle with photoshop (erp)
- Jinge wandering in the city on a chilly afternoon.
