- "Moon Bathing". Like sunbathing, get it? Ha ha. Okay, I know the pun's been done to death, this was just the watercolor equivalent of a test doodle (first serious attempt in the medium since lower school). I guess she's a husky...white wolf didn't have enough contrast so the brown got added.
- Just a teaser pic of a new print I'm doing...it's Ponygirl, holding an anthurium (large flowerlike thing, go look it up).
- Just playing around with the drawing tablet on one of the computers at school. Made a horse. This is...maybe a year, year and a half old?
- Here's my Ponygirl name badge from Further Confusion. Cute, isn't it? I'm happy they were such a hit, but damn...kinda got burned out on drawing for a while. Gotta get myself primed for Confurence now. ^_^
- A quick sketch done in class just the other day...I was thinking of the song...I think it was by Billy Joel? about the piano-player who works in a bar. If you're wondering where the rest of her arms are, I drew it that way because from there on down she'd be hidden by the piano I'm planning to draw there. In case it's hard to tell, she's a bunny girl (like the ones in casinos, with the cute tuxedo-like clothing...except she's an actual bunny).
- I looked at the header of my webpage one day, and said to myself, "Dang, my drawing style sure was crappy a year and a half ago. Time for a new website header." So, here's the all-new Ponygirl, as she's sort of stabilized (at least, appearance-wise). Don't even think about stealing this pic, it's on the top of my website and that would just make ya look silly. :) Prints available in b&w of this, though...
- My unicorn logo, as seen on the business cards I finally managed to get my hands on. Mmm...new business cardy goodness. Before you get any weird ideas, she's supposed to be *singing*.
- So I've been feeling in a graphite mood lately. Yatta! If you are planning on going to any cons in the near future, and you want a badge, there's a badge auction with your name on it, on Furbid! -_^
- A pic on the recent WTC terrorism thing, but in perhaps a somewhat different tone. Sorry for the crappy pic quality atm, it's actually taken with my digital camera since my scanner made a loud *PANG* noise yesterday and no longer reliably starts up. I'm not for war, I'm not for peace...just resolution and justice. Let's show 'em we're not defeated by this atrocity, but let's not lose our heads...
- Here's a grey cat, in a simple but nice blue prom dress, sitting with the wind at her back. The flowers are supposed to be a corsage of roses, but I dunno if the scan came out well enough... I was a little down the day I did this, and I originally really didn't like it so I was gonna put it up on Furbid. Then I started coloring it and I started to like it. Still on auction though, cause I need the money...
- This is a belated Christmas gift for...my boyfriend's brother's girlfriend. I don't know what else to put here, want to buy a print? Oh, and the full name of this pic is "La Senorita" because it's named after my favorite DDR song. Kind of an in-joke between us.
- Hiemis Nox is for Winter. I think I'll make Spring into a male lion. Here's his head, possibly.
- Jezz Bat says, "Cheers! I just stole Lucky the Leprechaun's Hat!"A really late St. Patrick's Day pic I dug up, inked and colored. Unfortunately, my scanner does really crappy things to shiny stuff (including colored pencil) so I'll try to get a better scan sometime.
- And here's Sunset. Named after the movie, Sunset Boulevard. Part 2 of the portfolio. Obviously not finished in this scan, this particular one is already done but my scanner's busted so I can't put up the final version. "I'm ready for my close-up..."
- Sort of an older pic from last year. I thought I had put this up, but I guess I hadn't yet... Tigerlily is kind of a generic name, but I couldn't think of much better at the time.
- An experiment in something outside my normal style...it was based off a sketchy pose from life drawing class. Obviously not finished... The only really irritating thing about this wolf was that I thought he'd more Polynesian and less generic American Indian-ish, but I guess if the feather wasn't there that'd help. I guess it would have helped too if I'd picked a different species. :p But I've been on a real canine kick lately, for some reason.
- Just a little doodle I did in class the other day and thought it came out kinda cute. I like tuxedos... foxes are kind of generic by now but what the heck. ^_^ I'm actually surprised...two people have gotten the in-joke about the filename so far. See satnlace.jpg as well.
- A scan of a badge I did for Valent at Anthrocon. He's a palomino colt, in case you can't tell. And, obviously, he's © his player.
- Random cute wolfpup doodle in sketchbook. Or husky. Whatever, I'm not picky. Aroo...
- A Secret Santa gift for someone who likes 'taurs. It's actually TWO bad puns, if you can stomach that. Bonus points if you can guess them. ^_^
