Today is mine and Jeff's "together six months" thing. So, in celebration of that and also as a kindof goodbye for now present (college), I drew us and our daemons. On another note, I got my black belt today...!
I'm back from Florida, and I've mised my scanner muchly muchly while I was gone!! Anyway, this was inspired in part by Wonton's cute lil blue foxie. It's my grandparents' Italian greyhound, Lucy.
Commission. I got a two-page description for this one, including references for what the clothes should look like. In the end I think he liked how it turned out. Credit is on the pic.
There is a Tai'Chi posture called "craneswings," as a martial artist, it was only a matter of time before I drew it. This is also part of my AP art portfolio (concentration: birds) Watercolor background, colored pencil crane.
Done as my half of an art trade with AnuanaSTDR from the forums. Bunyette the hampster nun belongs to her. I'm afraid I misinterpreted her nun hat as hair in the reference pic I was shown, but oh well, She liked it anyway.
Originaly done in my sketchbook at Ringling's Pre-College program over the summer, I redid this on paper I marbled. It probably has glaring horse-anatomy errors, but was proud of the character design.
Newer. You'know those kung fu hampsters, the ones everyoe has? Well, mine's name is Rob. Rob inspired this. I can't believe no one else has done this (not that I've seen, anyway).
I am so glad to finally be finishd with this. Not only does its completion mark the end of a full three months of stressing over it, but it's also the LAST piece for my AP portfolio. **Huge sigh.** 18"x18" Colored Pencil Mayhem.
Do-over of my first media project because my first attempt was really bad. This one's a lot better, thoughI'm still not happy with the tail. I alternately call him Betta draconis... Because apparantly 'alpha fish' just confuses people.
A binaries topic inspired me to dig out an old sketchbook and scan the cover, I then realized how much I really like this picture. Composed entirely out of Hilighters and purple and black sharpie.
I don't think I'm entirely finished with this, but I never really had time to finish this to the extent I wanted it. Triad color project, yellow-orange, red-violet, and blue-green mixed using only primaries. Painstaking hours of mixing paint and trying to get edges to look nice.
Got ahold of Open Canvas toady (Thanks BooBoo!). Started drawing and this bit of angst came out. Somewhat Therapeutic, I think. (reupload, tried to make it lighter)
My entry for TP67. Shelley M's Dawndra. Acrylic paint. I put a lot in this piece... It's called "Reflections" And it's kindof about personal evolution.
Umm... I hope this is okay for yerf... This is what I've been working on the past couple days. Due tomorrow morning. Oi, art school finals... :P Edited slightly for yerfability.
