New mediums here for me..done with watercolor pencils and some of that charcoal stuff. =p I actually drew this for school, on our Romanticism unit. Notice her wings are torn, she can't fly across-she's gotta WALK! And she doesn't have a hand to hold either. Sometimes that's just how it is. Hehe, anyway, I'm very glad with how this turned out. I'm doing a badge trade with Kenket, but instead of a badge for her she wanted me to make a badge for her friend Nyuni! How sweet! ^^ Nyuni is a secretary bird, native to Africa I believe. I like the background.. it was inspired by Disney's Tarzan. Mircons, rapidographs, markers, colored pencils, and some white gouache touch-ups.
