- Sometimes the best scenery isn't *out* through the window...
- Alpha Dingo, who is apparently in competition with Kendall for the coveted "Most Drawn Furry" award, travels along the outback by the cool of night, stopping to chat with an unnamed local sugar glider. The background is based on a photo of Simpson's Gap somewhere in Australia, just to make it seem authentic or something.
- Mandy loves to curl up with a good book which she says is a decent substitute when Mason isn't around. :)
- By request. Belinda bunny hangs out along the beach while Mason and a friend tag along.
- Belinda, a Furtoonian bunny, contemplates something she just read.
- Mason, just before attempting his graceful swan dive in the "We Don't Even Qualify to Carry the Luggage of the Real Athletes So We Made Our Own Olympics". For the record, he tripped off the end and produced an accidental belly flop that would have made Orson Wells proud. He, like all the other contestants, scored a perfect 10 and celebrated with a round of Slurpees.
- Character and lineart courtesy of Keith Belcher, aka Snoo, who let me attack it with my crayons. This is a detail from a much larger piece we're working on together but I rather liked this part. (Reuploaded to fix some boo-boos.)
- How modern lemmings satisfy ancient instincts.
- Another random bunny doodle. What I wonder is why the wind is blowing her ears and not her hair? My favorite answer: <drum roll> Hare spray. Thanks to David for that bit of cornball.
- Mason is up against some serious prey. Keep your fingers crossed... Acrylic cel with watercolor background. Ooh. Side note: As with all my doodles, the idea and art is generally copyright to me but feel free to use it how you like. I don't know why people are so persnickety about that.
- "So draw a cartoon!" they said. So I did. It's a little homage to the inevitable arrival of summer. Ironically I hate summer.
- It's a cat and... a bird. Yup. Can you believe I inked this one all by hand? I can't. I colored it by hand too then tossed it out in favor of this digital version. And just to insure that nobody will want to look at it, yes, it was inspired by anime kitty girls.
- Nothing like a little sushi on a hot day.
- Cheetahs chasing antelopes always makes me think of Pepe LePew. It hardly seems sporting when you're the fastest land animal on earth.
- My Christmas 2002 card(s). I ended up doing several versions to see which worked better and this particular one was done using an ink wash over crayon with some painted and cut tissue paper for the character.
- An OLD marker drawing of a cat sleeping on a wreath that I scanned then added a background to. Point being? Merry Christmas! :)
- The cover art for my 1997 Christmas cards. Inside the card: "In the pure soul, whether it sing or pray, / The Christ is born anew from day to day. / The life that knoweth Him shall bide apart / And keep eternal Christmas in the heart." - Elizabeth Stuart Phelps
- Ah, August in Texas... it's about 90 out and my A/C hasn't stopped running since I got up. Seems like the perfect time to upload my 1998 Christmas card. :)
- Work is a little scarce in the animation industry so Mason decided to branch out into the print field. Even better - he was offered his own comic! Skymouse, coming to a shelf near you. :) They didn't tell him if it was a retro sci-fi epic or manga of some sort, but he doesn't mind since he gets to wear shades and kick booty either way.
- A contented non-anthro cat finding a bit of heaven in a beam of light. Kind of whimsical looking.
- A spotted skunk inexplicably in a tropical jungle contemplating her life.
- Mason & Mandy somehow talk Moonshire (who's description I took a great deal of artistic license with ;) ) into taking them on a stroll through the countryside. Must have been a lot of sugar cubes involved in that bribe.
- Some people just can't be trusted with even their own care. Mason is one of these people. Fortunately the vet knows this too.
- Driftlily the arctic raccoon discovering one of the drawbacks of living in the arctic: Frozen dinners for every meal!
- ...and with His last breath He loosed a mighty roar then gave up His spirit. The pitiless hecklers around him heard it as a cry of defeat but those who knew Him later understood it to be the song of victory that it was; the ancient harmony that eternally stayed the cold hand of death. -- The chocolate bunnies are nice but never let them distract you from the real meaning of Easter. Happy Holyday! =:)
- Raspberry has evil mice. Ok, I don't know if they're evil, but if they are, this is what they're like!
- Ahhhhhh, Nebraska... Mason stops plowing the back 40 for a minute to enjoy the early morning sun just rising over the fields. Insert your own joke about country mice here -> ( ). I think a set a new personal record with this one: 46 visible Photoshop layers.
- Mason, the subject of a li'l poem, flies above the clouds in search of spiritual freedom... darnit, I hate these artsy things. Stop me before I do it again!
- I was ordered to upload this. My resistance is futile. Oh, it's Suzie Skunk after having found the first flower of spring. Done with vectors and cheesy plaid paint.
- A fox curls up in some grass for a little snooze. | Acrylic on cut cardstock. | It's since been sold on Furbay.
