yerf
Aha, here's the version I was looking for! Now that the goldenrod is in bloom, look for these spiky little buggers nestled in the flowers.
Coming soon to a Yerf near you - a little doodlin' foxy!
Ottawans make the best of Winter by basing a public holiday around skating. Too bad I really bite at skating. :-) Pencils by me, inks by Amarafox.
How doth the little BasiBee improve each shining hour!
What could be more Canadian than a beavoon? :-) The original is for sale; email me if you'd like it.
Buggy dragon, drawn for Scyld at CACE. Yay!
Would this be considered a pin-up? I sure hope so.
Some kinda ominous alien bug.
Based off Yard Cat Bob, the notorious birder. (Bob doesn't have wings, nor is he yellow, but hey, artistic license). For sale at FC!
Chalcids have big honkin' femoras (femorae?). Chalcids are very useful everyone.
1, 2, 3, 4, I declare a Cicada War! Let's swarm the Recents with cicadas!
All the cool giraffes know how to accessorize.
A commission for the delightful Croc of his crow character. Something Different for me in terms of lighting and background.
A festively feathery deinonychus for a long lost pal.
A collaborative badger waitress! Pencilled by me at 5:30 in the morning, inked and colored by oCeLoT at a much more reasonable hour.
Do you dig?
Some dragons! For me, "mixed media" means "huh, that first medium didn't work. Let's try another one.". :-)
Fire Ant to God of Lawnmowers And Curious Children: "Knock it off."
What if Aesop's fable about the fox n' grapes were interpreted by a celtic monk? (Answer: he'd probably do a much better job on the knotwork!) In true Kells style, it doesn't look much like a fox. You can almost hear the monks chanting, "But itttt's myyyy styyyyyle!"
Froggy dragon, why is your skull inside out?
It's like The Grasshopper and the Ant, only with a painted grasshopper and a few fire ants. My attempt at Cara's neato scribbly inking style.
Bugs should paint. Beware the Prisma marker 12-pack, or your markerings will always be very ostentatious.
Between Xian and Jonas (and with the help of a real mole cricket from Tarah Fae), I got guilted into drawing Realistic Gryllus TM. :D Hey, looks kinda cool! j'approve!
A bony waterbeastie searches for something. A background, most likely.
Herons show up whenever I doodle. Go figure!
You will certainly get a cool point if you know what kind of bird this is. No cheating!
A tiger that was long lost in my sketchbook. Now in colour!
Art trade with that most numerical of Jackalopes, 13:11! I tried to recreate an Illustrator style in ink and marker. Next thing you know, I'll be using real airbrushes to simulate Photoshop.
Trading Post pic for 13:11. Watch out for the water balloons!
Dance, cricket! Dance even when tea is spilling behind you!
