Yes, I said I wouldn't post entire pages of Urth here, but I've been getting heat from my friends because they liked this page. This is more of a cartoon than a comic page. And once more this has happened to me, and to many people I know. And thank you! Drive through!!!
Well, I wanted to try out my new watercolor pencils but I also wanted to work on my pictoral novel (aka a comic book). So I took the best of both worlds. This is Chad on an awesome bike! (the scanner chewed this up though)
This is the second character in my pictoral novel (aka a comic book). Yes there are some guys... I've got a hacker and some weird scientist. If you want to be in this exciting adventure just call 1-800-555-SOXME. No, I'm kidding, just e-mail me.
And this is the scientific nerd character for my pictoral novel (aka a comic book). I like the way his glasses turned out.
This is the character I'm going to play in my pictoral novel (aka a comic book). And yes, I do know it's more commonly called a graphic novel, but I forgot at the time and I think that this is a bit more original.
Well, I've decided to start a pictoral novel (aka a comic book) and this is Lavita Null's character sketch. I'll upload the colored and background history version as soon as I scan it, color it, and upload it.
Well, this is the bio of my first character for my pictoral novel (aka a comic book [this isn't the title, it's just what I'm saying]). Her name is Catrina Marshal, and once again, if any of you want to be in the book, just mail me or ICQ me at 913103!
And this is the second character... Lavita Null. What's fun about when you write a book (or pitoral novel) with your characters is that not only do you get to draw how they look, but you get to draw on their past and personality also!
And this is Inhandra's character... not a whole lot of expression on this. There'll be expression in novel though, oh there surely will.
And this... this is some prelim sketches for the comic. And some stats are: story line text- 45 - 55 pages long (not finished), page of comic compared to page of text ratio - 5:1, time per page-1 to 2 hours, projected time of completion- about 400 hours (this won't be a problem, I'm going to release it in parts).
I'm drawing away with this Urth thing... it's pretty fun. Anywho here's Trixi's character in it. She get's the privilage of being the first of my non-original characters to appear.
This is a character I named after saw one of those Cat-the-Hat hats on some one. After that he looked like Waldo, hence his name. I haven't checked lately, but are there any new Waldo books out?
