- After subjecting myself to a 7 hour marathon of "Ruin Explorers" and "Slayers," I decided to make up my own steriotypical band of adventurers. [Yes, I realize that's not the true crusader's uniform]
- Randy Sandford took some great fall pictures of a waterfall in Alabama, so I wanted to do a painting based on the area with a similar composition but with obvious artistic liberties taken on the overall appearance. Three wolves investigate a creek and waterfall. 12%94x16%94 acrylic paint on canvas.
- A bit more violent than usual, but I doubt the aliens trash Jamie's home again. Standard colored pincel. I'm trying to reduce the size of my uploads, unfortunatly, detail is lost in the process
- You know the drill. 14x 17 color pincel. Raina's taking a break from hiking on the appilachian trail. BTW in case anyone wondered or cared, the reason for my lack of recent uploads was due to the fact that my computer was fried by lightening, but its fixed now:)
- The usual 14X17 colored pencil peice. This wolf is patroling the mean streets of Atlanta.
- A valentine for Raina, who, after two months, is no longer floating in air. 9 x 12 colored pencil.
- It appears this guy's lighter isn't working [remember kids, smoking is cool ;)]. I liked how Jennifer Rodriguez used just gray markers on some of her more recent pictures. This was done in a similar vain as it is not too colorful. 11x14 marker
- The usual 14X17 colored pencil. I did the foreground and back ground on two different sheets so I could soffen the background without effecting the foreground.
- Yeah, I know I'm two days late, but I didn't remember until it was too late. This ridiculous pitures was originally drawn in pincil [during class I might add], then colored [though not as well as I would have liked in PSP.
- If you are fimilar with Rick Guidice's [sp?] work, then you can probably guess where I got the idea for this. I wasn't sure what to put at the poles, so it looks kinda like what he did :P. In case you can't tell its supposed to be inside a Colony [a Bernal Sphere design, though more elongated]. Sadly the coloring's kinda flat - not my best work, but I suppose its better than some of my earlier crap [should do a spring cleaning some time], but I just had to try out the new manager.
- Back off, creep! 11x14 colored pencil and marker with a wink and a nudge to Adam ;) This, of course, was started earlier, but with all that's happened, its understandably late :P
- Hmm,Biker girl in destroyed city; can't get much more cliche than that. Yeah, it does look like something out of MOSPEADA, but that wasn't my intension. 14X17 colored pincel. The proportions suck, but at least the background's kinda cool.
- Canine girl with book. Hopefully this isn't too big of an image. Right now, I'm using a computer lab over in europe, and they have some weird settings, so I can't tell how this will come out on other computers. Plus the scanner ate up a lot of my detail ;P. ~ 8x10 colored pencil.
- Jamie and her robot - which somehow ened up looking like Raiden from VR on. Colored pencil.
- Here is another cat painted for a friend. It kind of goes together with a previous picture so I used a similar background. For some reason it doesn't see to work as well as the other one did. 8x10 acrylic. BTW, my old web page ist tot so I need to make a new one...sometime
- Jasmine and Samwise in, In what I suppose, is a kind of pet portrait for a friend's belated birthday gift. The background is a bit extravagant [read ridiculous], but I wanted deep colors so the cats would stand out. 11x 14 acrylic on gesso board.
- Burning the midnight oil. Its been a slow week in the art deparment. Oh well. This was originally colored pencil, but with a few modifications from Paintshop Pro
- Fox-like fellow in the process of cannonballing into a rocky pool. 10.5x11 colored pencil
- Life isn't always full of adventure on far off exotic alien worlds. 11x14 colored pencil
- How does Santa deliver 10 billion pounds of gifts every year? With foxy helpers of course. Yeah, its a bit early [ especially since I'm still in shorts and a T shirt], but I may not get a chance to upload anything for a while after I leave at the end of fall quater. Colored pincel and paintshop pro [ yeah, I got lazy].
- Computer colored art. I was forced onto the Viper against my will by Caitlin and Adam.
- The third, and possibly, last segment in my comic. The original story that its based on is 72 typed pages [36216words], so I'll probably never finish it. Instead, I might try to think of a much shorter story to do. Colored in PSP, but since it was made with the first 2 it still retains the coloring errors.
- A feeble attempt at a comic. Originally ink, colored in PSP. Unforunatly, I didn't think ahead and shaded with ink, so the coloring came out bad
- The second page. This time I experimented with b&w. sorry the prints so small.
- A request pic for the very nice Mary Beth. Hope you likes! [colored pincel]. Apparently, this knight traded in his shinning armor for tennis shoes - and considering midevil footware I can't say that I blame him
- A fox sitting by a creek. This was inspired by another piture on the SCFA [but I forget by who] same pose, but different animal and background.
- A dinner party at Raina's loft. 7x10 colored pencils - with a few buildings edited out for compositional improvement (thanks Brenda ;), though the original is on my web page. The scanner kind of mauled the soft sky since it doesn't like subtle color changes ;)
- More detail, more! Some kind of husky mix I guess [heh, sometimes I just draw dog-like creatures without any perticular species in mind] who just waded across a small pool. 16x20 Colored pencil and acrilic
- Here is some type of wild dog investigating a creek in the bottom of a gully. 11x14 colored pencil.
- Something a bit different. Two dolphins playing near the coast of England on an unusually clear day. This was mostly a practice piece for water as I have a few neat ideas I'd like to try, but I thought I'd share this anyway. 12x16 acrylic on gessoboard.
