Character sketches for Henri and Sara, for a comic I'm working on. I wanted to check out how tall they were to each other. Henri is 5 foot 3, in case you're curious.
Greylocks, another furry I spent a lot of time with in Ottawa. He's also the former head of Anthrocon security. © Himself
Out on the town. Greylocks and I taking a walk out in the Byward Market area. He's © himself
Serval dancing. I saw a lot of this when I was visiting Ottawa. He's poetry in motion. It's a shame I suck at poetry. © himself.
Me in Ottawa. Pretty well the clothes and haircut I have now. This was a test image for a comic that I wanted to do about what I was doing on September 11th. It turned out fine so I suppose that's a go.
A rat warrior. Inspired by reading the new Terry Pratchett book, "The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents."
Sun Wukong from "Journey to the Western Paradise". Quite the interesting collection of tales! Go, Monkey King!
Hervy and I doing the ol' Rocky and Bullwinkle thing. This is part of my sweep message. I am very strange. But pleased with this picture. It's been waiting for an upload for months. Hervy copyright her player...
This is what happens if you watch too much "Odorikuruu" and other anime music videos. The horror... the horror...
A Japanese Marten. Part of a project to a) fill my morgue with all the mustelid species and b) get in some practice drawing and colouring for a future comic project. Aren't these guys GORGEOUS?
Do not adjust your vertical or horizontal. Lagkitten controls all you see, and your baud rate. Lagkitten © his player
At the request of a certain wolverine lovin' artist, here's a cute and cuddly lil' gulo gulo.
First attempt with new tablet. Blackfoot, my character in the Vagrant online RPG. He's going native.
When extinction looms, flightless birds fight back. I love kakapos. I love mustelids too, but on New Zealand, they're bad news!
Anatomical and marking sketch for a gryphon idea I had in my head for years. Lyosha inspired me to draw it out. Harpy eagle-jaguar gryphs (obviously spotting a macaw-howler monkey gryph!)
I haven't been around, 'cause I don't have a modem anymore :( but here is a contribution to my fave furs in AAWD...
I heard it was a certain bear's birthday reciently, so Mel decided to give him his own puppet skunk, because ventriloquism is fun! Angel Bear is © G. Raymond Eddy
Reuploaded AC99 conreport. Everyone © themselves
This is a double experiment. First in using Illustrator to clean up my bad inking. Second as part of a series of diverse images of wolf anthros as a challange to move away from the perfect furry. I am working on a few of these, representing the diversity of humanity I've met online.
Bigears, the most darlin' little fennec on FurryMuck! He is, of course, copyright his player.
Well, here's my con report so far, that I don't have one yet :P Blah indeed!
Ah... my commisioner was wondering why this wasn't here... I didn't relise that there was NUDITY in it! Ack! I've fixed that...
This is a much less refined drawing, so of course I think it best shows how I think CeeCee should be drawn, with that nice broad weasel snout. She also looks almost sexy here. CeeCee @ Shawntae Howard
I'm no big comic reader, but the more I've seen of some of Shawntae Howard's characters, the more I want to draw them. CeeCee, perhaps my fav because she's a weasel sort, is a gentle soul. Here I've tried to draw her more like my sort of weasel. CeeCee @ Shawntae Howard
The plot thickens. Well, not really, but metaphorically Wolf copyright J. Kidd
My commision for Ron in Florida... Here you are! FINNALLY back near a scanner :)
Colours by Amara, Inks by Gryllus, ferret by Folsom and Mel by myself. It's super ferret rodeo MelSkunk! Combo art is fun.
It's a Heterodontosarus, a picture I was hoping to submit to a magazine until I finished a 7 hour inking binge and realised I had the perspective all off. Rather than get rid of the hard work, especially days of early Jurassic flora research, I decided I'll post it here anyways.
Well, seems like Gene thinks I'm dead... I didn't know that! Why are the dead always the last to know? (This pict inspired by A Christmas Carol)
FOOKIE DA FOSSA! Carol drew me, so here's a picture of a character of hers... and YES, that IS indeed 'Shades' on her shirt. <btw: REALLY liked her pict of me!>
