- quick computer colored sketch of my coyote bad-guy. i am not that good at "evil". but i try. :)
- New sketch of my wolf character on the computer.
- Fourth in the equine portrait series. Microns, Prismacolor markers, watercolor pencils, acrylic paint on 6x8-inch Bristol. Character is © to her creator.
- Mood Ring Revolution. That's one hip turtle. It's a little more color (and a little more... hippy?) than I'm used to.
- Here's Mystee, a hybrid of red squirrel and red fox that I've depicted before. :) This is her FC2004 badge.
- "..But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand." - the Skin Horse, The Velveteen Rabbit. I got to thinking about this book yesterday, and of things, and ended up with a sketch to play around in Photoshop with. I never upload any Photoshop stuff in here. Well, okay, so I don't have that much to show, don't color in there much.
- A mix between asian and western dragons.
- Sketch from work after peaking through They Might Be Giants' "Bed Bed Bed" of Rollie.
- The finished badge for Clarke "Dex" Braudis. He's at FC folks if you wanna look for him. :)
- Thanks to a car accident (which I am out fine in, but my car is another story) and the flu, issue 13 is going to be pretty late. Doing this issue has taught me that inking/penciling/greytoning/and lettering a comic on your own is mad work.
- I'd rather be at FC right now, but instead. I post. Oh yeah, this unfortunately will be out next month. I know I know. I promise to get them out sooner.
- The thing I enjoy the most about illustrating this issue is being given the chance to draw and write Ken Singshow's Andorozon characters, especially the Cat Sisters. They're so bad (and fun to draw.)
- The other good thing about this issue is that I finally got the chance to draw more humans, again thanks to Mr. Singshow who's Dr. Burden is one of the featured here with her biological Chekari, the cheetah boy. Many thanks to Karabiner for doing the initial internal layouts for Rokki the Flying-Squirrel.
- He'll have a companion pic if I make it through the night. =P If you're at FC, you'll see him in the show. One year I'll actually get a full night's sleep before con. Oh well, old habits die hard... anyway, he's watercolory with some inking. If I get the hang of watercolors, the old markers get the boot for good.
