"Self Loathing," 18" x 24" Oil on masonite. I have never been comfortable with my appearance, who I'am, or even what I'am. I have refused to ever do a self-portrait as a result. I finally did one, and it was very therapeutic. Especially, when painted in Oils, that media will test your patients. The hand has just finished touching my face, leaving it with feelings of self-loathing, which I project at the viewer...
