8/04/02 -- 'The Lingering Fear That I Cannot Fly...' I'm rarely happy with a piece the moment it's done, and this piece is no exception. I'm rather pleased with a couple techniques that I'd been meaning to use but haven't gotten around to until now, but my experimentation with shadow and contrast still leaves me unsatisfied.

I saw the musk ox, and I wanted one too. Except he looks more like a water buffallo, but that's because his fuzzyness is all under the suit. He just cleans up well, is all.

Erf, I wish my computer wasn't crap so that I could do more things then upload... But then again, if I actually HAD a nice computer, I probably would STILL upload ;) Anyhoo, This here is my fav pic of Dominique, done in Sally Sketchbook :) She appears to be looking at the floating torso of her pearing out of the leaves, but she isn't supposed to be.. I did this one for my OAC art class, for our Portfolio assignment... I wanted to do a series of drawings that had insect/ect. morphs, thus I came up with a new and much better design for my scorpion character, Scorpi-Anna! So, here she is! :D I love how this one came out! I never got the picture back, tho... I guess the teacher still has it, but that's alright :) I'll have to draw a full bodied pic of her sometime :) The background colours are kinda bleh, tho..
