A really old alteration of my comic character. It wasn't my intention to draw the character but the result leaned towards it.
Something I scribbled in science class while watching Erin Brockovich. Happy joyfulness.
1950s poodle.
"InnerWolf at work," 8.5" x 11" Pen & ink on Bristol paper. He be a friend of mine, and an inspiration to us all.
"Tar" pencil on paper.
"Transformation," 18" x 24" Acrylic on canvas. A spell is cast, and a dream is awaked, reality bends to the artist's will. The door way between possiblity is opened, and past through. The transformation complete, now what be thy will, to be done?..........
4AM madness taking its toll. Its toll is 50 cents I think. Anyway, more weirdness brought to you by Zot's sketch book and me doodling. More Fear and Loathing running jokes. That was such a screwed up film.
Take one part dicynodont, one part sailbacked pelycosaur, and one part muskrat; mix well. The end result is the mudgrubber, a beaver-sized and turkey-brained swamp herbivore that uses its tusks and beak to dig for corms and tubers or to defend itself. To be replaced with the color version when I actually figure out how to color a background, so bear with me here.
Well this is an interesting old piece I did when I got my first scanner at the age of 15. Incidentally that scanner came with some cruddy software, so this is actually my first peice done on the computer ^_^
Here's a rather old pic. I know the left eye looks wonky and the head's too big, but I get enough positive reactions to give me reason to post. :) This is Zaush when he spends time tribing with others of his kind after the Conirika incident.
Here's a cell-style image of Zaush I'm moving into yerf from my site. I still use this as a color reference when I color newer pics of him.
It's the middle of June - the perfect time for a winter-themed picture! ^.^;; Here's Shadow, Howie, and Jonny in a scene colorized from my "world-famous" comic strip.
Cybre's ready for summertime!!! :) © Heather Wasneuski, 2001.
Challenging Cybre to a game of "MageKnight" can be a very frightening display... though the scariest part of all is that I can somehow envision myself doing this ^_^' ...anyone else into this new MageKnight craze??? Cybre © Heather Wasneuski. MageKnight © Wiz Kids, LLC.
"When I think about Angels" lyrics by Jaime O'Neal. Well, the torture's almost over, Derek (Zipp) is back on Friday! *puuurr* Colored pencil/watercolor crayons.
Baron Von Bruisehiemer charging up an attack
Sneakers looking abit surprized
Xenos, the ringtail, from StarBrigade
Zenas the evil bat returns
When you are in junior high and have a crush on Napoleon, what's a girl to do? Research every book on Imperial France in the library and 17 years later submit this cavalry pic to Furrlough 100.
"A tiger?! In Africa?!" Look in an atlas and see which direction he's going: It was pure coincidence but still funny, he's moving away from his target destination. Can anyone guess the inspiration for the picture? ^_^
Moan. He's cute when he's stressed.
The four main characters from a story I have in my head but haven't got round to writing down yet :-) They are: Avior (rabbit), Celaeno (otter), Rigel (fox) and Altair (gryphon).
I was asked to draw four of the blackbelt women who train and teach at my dojo and, as I rarely draw humans other than myself, this is the result--felids. Their species were determined by the way I perceive them through both appearance and personality.
An older image of a canid/draconid hybrid of my creation (not that it's all that original, but still). Drawn with a Pigma Micron and colored with Prismacolor pencils.
An oriental-type dragon I doodle with a permanent marker and rollerball pen out of sheer boredom while in pre-IB Art two years ago. As much as I hate to say this, I didn't learn a thing from that class and seriously resented being forced to draw the same old still life display over and over again. I wouldn't have minded if I could do it the teacher's way one day, my way the next, and imitate Van Gogh the third, but we were never allowed such freedom. *shrug* As a result, I earned myself the title of "the dragon-girl who doesn't listen". ;P
My version of Cerberus, collectively named Kerberos. Each head has its own name, but I can't seem to recall them at the moment....
A boxer sag (wingless gryphon) that I scribbled with red and black overhead-projector pens while watching the sparring class at the dojo. It ended up looking somewhat muddy, so I opted to increase the contrast and brighten the red.
