Swift Claw in wood. I believe that this was the first raptor, let alone myself, that I'd ever done in anything. Ironically, it's a whole lot better than most of the crap that came after it. This was probably from mid/late 96, though I wrote 97 on the pic.

I admire Tracy Butler's art sooo much! My favorite character of hers is Dustin. After reading his char. description, I figured there must be a point where his ego crashes revealing a bit of true sentiment. I couldn't bring myself to color this in my usual cartoon cel flat color, Tracy's own illustrations having so much depth. But I have no painting skills of my own, so I stuck with the computer and used airbush tool to give the image a more painted look. Though it took me 3 hours I'm really happy with it. =) Dustin and Fox ©Tracy the Mag.
