- Happy Birthday Amara!
- Candy's Heart. one of five pieces for FC2001's art show. This was a quick color job in Photoshop. Candy Coon and R.T. Dodger are two of my fursuit characters.
- Candy's Heart. one of five pieces for FC2001's art show. This was a FINAL color job with prismacolor markers and colored pencils for hilights. Candy Coon and R.T. Dodger are two of my fursuit characters.
- A restless night and leftover Taco Bell are responsible for this monstrosity. Guard your pseudo-mexican comestibles carefully! The food you lose may be your own! Fun Fact #341: "Chalupa" apparently means "little canoe" according to babelfish.altavista.com
- "Check Please" -- a sketchbook commission for a friend one evening, with a coyote in a Phoenix uniform, and a panther in a Florida uniform. I used some photo reference on this one, as I don't know enough about hockey to illustrate a body check.
- This is front cover for the Dirtbombs' single "Stuck on my Shoe" (on vinyl, no less!). Mick Collins fronts this five piece Detroit-based outfit (they love him in Holland!).
- This is the back cover for the Dirtbombs' single "Stuck on my Shoe" (on vinyl, no less!). I've been told that the small spotty cat's amp really did once burst into flames.
- Fraidywolf. A bluish wolf perches atop a footstool, scared of his own shadow during a thunderstorm. Two of five pieces for the FC2001 art show.
- This one's from 1995; I wanted to do a piece with several interacting characters. I used it on a couple furry party flyers back in Florida.
- This is an inked sketch I did of Japhet at CF9. He's sometimes called "the Gangster of Love" on Furrymuck. Japhet © T.Pluck.
- Gryphon Hero: Fourth of five of my pieces in the FC2001 art show. Vaguely inspired by Genesis Cook and her affinity for grphyons (or griffins?)
- Hogtown Tails is the unofficial title of my stories from the Wild Life comic series back in 1994 (issues 3, 4, 6). I drew the characters Tony, Lily, Mutt and Judi for the first time in a few years.
- This one's for my pal Herbie Bearclaw. It's good to be back. :)
- A takeoff on the Americana "classic" dogs playing poker painting, this is a house portrait I'd been fiddling with for the past few months as spare time permits. Featured are (left to right): Kohii Canyon (coyote), Malin Fox, Rolo Koda (white wolf), Avery Chewstuff (grey wolf), and Dakota, our house doggie. For the record, we are playing Chez Geek.
- Announcing ConiFur Northwest 1999 Guest of Honor Jimmy Chin. Enjoy the buffet, tip your waitresses, I'll be here all weekend! (my required-by-law Photo of the Artist. You can see the stars in my eyes. Actually, I think that's red-eye)
- A drawing of Higgins, a gold dragon with a black mane. Brush inked with Higgins Black Magic, color by Prismacolor markers with a little tweaking with Prismacolor pencils. Higgins is copyright Higgins Dragon.
- From an idea by Jonas Silver. A Unicorn cooking shish kebab. Yes I'm still alive!
- Sunday evening at CF9 I came across Spatter and his "Artiste Bear". It was getting late and I felt like making this "Alien" reference for real, and then drew it in his sketchbook. Spatter © Eli McIlveen
- This is the badge design I did for one of the random blanks for FURther CONfusion 2000. Official explanation was that Kepler (left) and Horatio Aardwolf (of the Aardwolf Agency comic project that's been lying dormant for years) are Y2K troubleshooters, and their methods are somewhat.. unusual.
- This is the badge design I did for one of the random blanks for FURther CONfusion 2001. Brian Reynolds started this running gag with the ferrets for FC2K1, and this sorta fit the theme. Apparently ferrets like raisins.
- This is the badge design I did for one of the random blanks for FURther CONfusion 2002. There was a collegiate theme this year, and I brought back the ferret from 2001's badge. Candy Coon & Violet Velvetpaw were my unofficial convention "mascots," with the ferret in an mascot costume, a dolphin.
- This is the badge design I did for one of the random blanks for FURther CONfusion 2004. The Great Outdoors is the theme this year, and once again that ferret shows up, flanked by renditions of the con chair and vice chair, proving that "roughing it" doesn't have to be that rough. Ask me about the leafless tree on the left some time.
- This is Jericho (otter from FM), with Yippee Coyote. I haven't done a whole lot of colored pencil work, but this one came out kinda nice. Jericho © A. Young, Yippee Coyote © J. Chin.
- I love you, Kohii Canyon! Kohii is just a muck character I've been using for about four years now. He's kinda been overshadowed by my more popular coyote "alter-ego" Yippee Coyote. Scratchy pencil with computer color underlay for a vague marker effect.
- I'm trying to work on colored pencil technique and layering colors. It isn't a great scan, but it's a pencil coloring of a black & white print. "Small moves, Ellie."
- A wolf with Northwest coast influence. Prints are available! $5! Drop me email!
- ConiFur Northwest (www.conifur.org) mascot Nootka. Prints are available! $5! Drop me email!
- Here's a pic I did for Grant and Mike, to celebrate their new cohabitation. It depicts their fursuit characters, RedXIX and Nukame, built by ScribbleFox.
- A little pic I did for my parents. Happy Holidays! (by the way... my own cheap holiday card is at: http://www.mustelid.com/yippee/xmas99jc.jpg )
- This one's one of my b&w prints, which I experimented by giving it the colored pencil treatment, then mangled by scanner. I didn't like the background.
