Eurofurence 4 badge that I drew for DocO.
One danger of late night cartooning is the tendency to fall asleep and have weird dreams. Okay, maybe that's a good thing. Inside the dream bubble: Look! Three pencils at once!
My first upload for 1998! This is the dragon that has appeared in some of my pictures. Yes, I happen to like toony dragons. Childhood influences, you know.
Young fox and young dragon playing with toy swords. I heard the line "chasing dragons with plastic swords" in a Sheryl Crow song, and just had to draw this.
Just dreaming... This is the header graphic for my dream diary page. (Yes, that is a fox plushie.)
It's Duncan the kangaroo of the Guardians as a rock star. Happy birthday, Tet! Duncan is © Ryan Dewalt.
A picture of Richard de Wylfin, Usenet Fox, done upon his request. Richard de Wylfin is © himself.
Wolf-like furry holding a magazine. Just playing with colored pencils here.
Happy Easter 1997. Two bunnies, one holding flowers and a large egg, and the other sitting on a swing. I saw a store display that looked like this and I just had to draw it.
The Evolution of Morton Fox
Ben Franklin flying a kite. Franklin is © Daniel Harris (Slyder).
The graphic from the gag page "Dr. Sam T. Reaker's Guide to Running Wild and Free in the Forest Naked with Scissors" that I'm writing for a webzine.
Colored pencil sketch of three furry friends: a fox, a pig and a raccoon. Just trying to see what would happen if I let my pencil wander. And I was listening to REM at that time... you know... shiny happy furries holding hands. :)
Happy Birthday, Gene!
Ink drawing: a Canada goose morph feeding a regular Canada goose.
Yeah, I heard about the Fox Entertainment spinoff IPO so this may be appropriate... or not.
Inked drawing of Morton Fox and his vixenfriend sitting on the grass.
Another inked drawing of Morton and his vixenfriend sitting on the grass.
(December 1997) A picture of Gwendel for the Draw Gwendel Contest. Character is © Wendy Rice.
The most gracious Thomas K Dye has drawn my character twice already and I haven't drawn his yet. So here's a little something in return. Let's see... I think the moral here is never let Morty get behind the anchor desk. :) Kevin J Dog is © Thomas K Dye.
A quick, fun Halloween picture: kitten in costume with grab bag.
The mysterious raccoon stranger as the headless horseman... well, except he does have his head with him.
How Not to Draw Morton Fox... from a well! :)
How to draw Morton Fox. Since I haven't put up any guidelines, anyone who tried drawing this character will end up doing a better job than I. This should take care of that. :)
A "cool roo" sketch I did for Hopper Roo's (Peter LaVerdiere) sketchbook at the AAC. Thanks to Hopper Roo for scanning it in.
It's Hysteria! Thanks for that lovely picture of Morton and here's another picture in return. Hysteria is © Julie Miyamoto.
I was visiting Hysteria's site recently and read something on the bulletin board about following my tail with regards to the comic. That's quite flattering. Thanks. I guess this could also be a rather late birthday picture. Or not. I'm not doing really well on descs for these tribute pics, am I? :) Hysteria is © Julie Miyamoto, by the way.
A quick cartoon I did for an informal cartooning contest with an "Afterlife" theme. The story behind this is when I was young, someone told me that in heaven I could have ice cream all the time. So this is bound to happen.
My logo for the Independent Cartoonist's Homepage.
A picture for Inhandra's Valentine request. B&W ink of Inhandra ( © Kelly Dunlap) and Isomorph ( © Mike Moore) in an embrace.
