"Apathy". In this case it is the state where the horse no longer cares what is being done to it. There is no spark left. No will. No thoughts. Just an empty heart. Chalk pastels on black sketchbook paper.
Sorry for the re-upload, but we went and got a photo of it at a studio. The result is perfect, the scan was way too yellow. So... "Gold" Cretacolour hard pastels on blue/grey velour paper. 20" x 25"/A2/55 x 65 cm Approximately 50 hours of work.
Um, yes, I didn't mean to detail it to death. o_o I was supposed to do it in a bit looser style... But that really ain't for me, it turns out. So, my first drawing done in Painter 9. It's of Henke, my character.
After two months of heavy work, ridiculous twig hunts, photographing, studying, hikes and many many tears and much hair less, I finished this. And she's not fat goddamnit, she's pregnant! ;) Watercolours, acrylics and oils on 22" x 28" aquarelle paper.
"Leaving Home", oils on 17" x 22" paperboard. My mom has a birthday in a month, but I couldn't help myself and gave it to her... :) And she started to cry! *chuckles* I hate my scanner though, the original is better IRL...
Illustration for Book of Were. The Lord of Dragons, the outcast and ranger of the mountains. He has no family, no friends, not even a name! He needs no such things, as he is just as powerful without them. He is no villian though, only a hermit... With a strange appeal to him... Err... *cough cough*... Yeah. Mixed media on 14" x 17" aquarelle paper.
"Lucifiuus - Servant of birds". Mixed media on 14" x 17" bristol board. Illustration for Book of Were, Lucifiuus sits inside in his beloved library, writing on his chronicles. He is happy and perfectly unaware of the adventures that awaits him.
